Viet Charm Restaurant

Amazing evening event with Viet charm & Barley Stacks wine. Food was delicious, especially the rare beef salad and red duck curry! Staff excellent, thanks Adam, you were awesome! Can't wait to go back :-

The main meals were delicious, expensive but fantastic. However - our desserts were not. We ordered Mango and Black Sticky Rice and our mango was hard, sour and altogether appalling in taste. When we advised the staff that we were unhappy with our dessert and sent them back we were greeted with the most outrageously rude customer service Ive ever experienced. The Manager of the restaurant said that she would not take the items of our bill and threatened to call the police and lock us inside the restaurant until we paid for them. She then made a phone call to another gentleman who tried to resolve the issue and insisted that we pay otherwise she would not let us leave. He told me I needed to stop being stubborn, advised me that I was wrong and told me that we had a problem and there was no way of resolving the situation unless we paid. I had been here once before and raved about the place - but this experience has made me disinterested in ever returning to the place again. If you're in the area though, CitiZen across the road is fantastic ;

The food here is good, authentic decor, good staff, great menu. now for the bad ..... The toilets seem to be in a communal area and to be honest they are disgusting, they seem to have not been cleaned in a very long time.... It really takes away from what this place could be, which is 4 stars.

This was the worst Vietnamese experience I have had. Food was ridiculously unauthentic and over-priced. I am appalled that another reviewer had the same problem as us I found a long piece of hair in my food, only to be told Ill receive a 10% discount for the negligence. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I would give this place no stars if possible. I loved Sugar Cane but sadly I will not be returning to this new Viet Charm restaurant.

Barossa & Light Cab Service love coming here, we recommend the fried rice, we love the windows looking over south terrace, and sitting at the window looking out. Good street food here, good prices, friendly staff, and easy parking 2hr or 3hr right out front. We love it here.

Service was terrible the spring rolls tasted like the same ones you buy at the supermarket, we got told that we had to reuse our dirty cutlery and plates we told them no, all of the deserts were absolutely disgusting, they tried to over bill us buy anot $100 and the toilets were viral. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I only gave it 1 star for the main meals.

The food here is very good. They know what they're doing and every time I've come, the food has been quick and perfect. The thing that holds them back is the service. Employees are a little awkward and we have been forgotten a few times.

Claudia and I dined there slmost every night of our 10 day stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was always packed. Our favorite dish was Pad Thie ...better check the spelling. We can highly recommend it. Our wish is for them to start a restaurant here in Townsville.

Terrible. From the moment we mentioned we had vouchers for a "Vietnamese Street Feast" we were made to feel 2nd class. 3, 1-inch long spring rolls for starters. 3 pieces of seafood for me and 3 pieces of duck in a lukewarm sloppy sauce for my wife does not constitute a feast by any stretch of the imagination. We asked if there was any rice to go with it, but sadly not. Having spent 6 weeks in beautiful Vietnam we know what street food is. An approximation would have been appreciated. This was not it. Could not leave fast enough.

One of the best authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the CBD of Adelaide. If I have to trade the crowd and lousy of the many restaurants in Chinatown for a fine dining experience at Vietcharm at some extra of a few bucks, it would be absolutely no brain to go to the former. It's much more important for me to dine at a nice and clean restaurant where you can have the most delicious creamy pumpkin soup, fresh steam fish and so tender scotch fillet rather than saving a few bucks. Vietcharm is definitely on the top of my favourite restaurants now. Will come back for sure.
