Story

How many times have you been to see a mechanic and come away more confused than when you originally took your vehicle there?

Tas Matiatos and Barry Clarke have been in the automotive repair industry in Auckland since 1991, both owner operators of 3 different workshops. In that time this has given both of these qualified mechanics a good understanding of what it takes to run an efficient and transparent workshop.

Customer budget and requirements is the number one priority. We know how important it is to communicate clearly with people, especially when it comes to vehicle repairs and maintenance. We clearly inform our customers of what needs to be done and unconditionally stand by our workmanship.

I think you should ignore the last review. These guys are amazing. Great service. Good advice and well priced for a city based shop. I didn't feel ripped off! The repairs I needed were explained to me so well, I understood (and I know nothing about cars). Being female, it is hard sometime, and you can feel like your being taken advantage of because you don't know any better. But not here. I found them to be honest, and very helpful. Besides reviews are very one sided. You don't know their side of the story. The customer could have been very hard to deal with.

Have always had excellent service at Vic Park Auto, the team always looks after me and are patient in explaining things when I don't understand the jargon. They have helped after hours for free when I had battery questions, and are always really flexible. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Great service and the first time I haven't felt ripped off after a WOF! These guys are honest and tell you what needs to be done and when. Incredibly accommodating too. Highly recommend.

People have different POVs, may each customers have been treated differently. Telling people to ignore someone's review is suspicious, it almost looks like the store writes a review itself. The experience wasn't great here. Simply compare the services and quotes around various places helps you to understand better what you get. If it's a five it's a five, if it's a one it's a one.

Simply because you are trying to rip me off. There are no clear prices showing on your website, each of the customers has to get a quote individually. If not that I researched a bit more with other vendors, I couldn't believe you're charging 30% - 50% more. Chick bias at auto shops? I think it's very well true at your place. I don't understand how other reviews are all 5 stars.
