Nice staff here! Everyone was very helpful with our inquiries and booking process. My dad recently did his driving test at this location, and all the staff — especially the test officer, Divya — were incredibly kind and supportive. They chatted with him before the test and encouraged him to relax and not be nervous, which made a big difference. Great experience overall!
Five stars for Laura or Lauren? Sorry I forgot to check the spelling! She is super friendly and nice. I was so nervous. But she comforted me and calmed me down with her sense of humor and professional attitude. Big thanks!
I just finished my driving test for my probationary license and was failed for “not checking the rear-view mirror.” This is completely unfair , my driving instructor has watched me consistently checking all mirrors, including the rear-view, throughout all my lessons. Even DURING THE TEST I was doing exactly that!nnWhat made the situation worse was how defensive and inappropriate the tester was . After the test, my instructor who sat in during the drive said the tester was being too harsh and instead of addressing that, the tester blurted out, “I’m not being racist or harsh.” No one had even mentioned race at that point, which makes the comment incredibly concerning and unprofessional.nThis felt like a biased and unfair assessment, and the way it was handled left me feeling disrespected and judged for reasons that had nothing to do with my driving ability. If this is the standard for testing, it seriously needs to be reviewed.nnPs ,I believe the VicRoads Testers name is Ashley bald Caucasian Asian man.
I would like to provide feedback regarding my driving test on 19 May conducted by an officer named Harpreet. The experience was unprofessional and disappointing. My test was cancelled saying my instructor “intervened” - a claim that is simply not true. My instructor is fully aware of the consequences so she would never do that.nI accept that I made one mistake during the test but this was caused by her confusing and unclear instructions. At one point, Harpreet gave me two directions at the same time, which naturally led to confusion. Another time, she gave me a last minute instruction on the street turn - “Oh sorry, turn right from here” - which almost made me miss the turn. When I brought this up, she simply said, “I apologised to you for that”. What felt unfair is her apology was accepted but my explanation was not considered. It’s important that testing officers remain neutral, clear and respectful. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and used to ensure consistent standards and professionalism among testing officers.
DO NOT RECOMMEND BOOK FOR DRIVERS TEST / LEARNER TEST - Not sure if it’s a money making scheme or whether they need to make budget for EOFY 2024/25 but they’ve been failing Learner test drivers for unbelievable reasons;n1. it’s been raining for the past few days non-stop! And the roads are wet, going 30-35kms on a school 40 zone, so you fail them?!?! Unbelievable tactics If it wasn’t raining and for the pedestrians maybe?nn2. How many head checks do you need to do? Giving way to another motor vehicle another L driver but they didn’t take it, so you proceed with caution and the VicRoads tester says but you needed to look back? When you already looked back while stopping! But why again when taking off? As if, another car was going to overtake both of us and hit the L driver on the opposite lane. Even if this was the case, how is looking back going to deter them?! Why not just turn every new driver into a salt shaker?!?! this reason was bullshit.nnAfter reading this, if you still want to proceed because your instructor insisted. Honestly, Goodluck and hope you get a fair tester. Not all are the same but the few always seem to attract the 1 star.
