Staff were friendly and it was easy to make an appointment. However, vaccination cost $150 worm tablets were extra. A little bit expensive but it is a kind of standard price in this area.nConsultation was quick and I wish they gave extra education about puppy development for pretty new pet owners.
We feel so fortunate we came across Vets on Balwyn! Given our first appointment was an unexpected weekend visit, their knowledge and experience was reassuring and we felt confident in the care and the plan going forward.nThe whole team at the clinic work together, even if the vet we had seen wasn't on site others stepped in and helped us. All the staff in the clinic knew our greyhound's history and situation, so even if I was speaking to a different clinician, they knew where things were up to and I didn't feel I had to repeat myself.nThe clinic staff are proactive, reaching out to clinicians in their sister clinic that have been involved in our greyhound's care previously to gain relevant information and understanding.
Vets on Balwyn have cared for my fur babies since they were born in 2012. Even though I have moved from Balwyn, I continue to go to them as they are wonderfully caring, professional and have consistently shown the utmost care for my dogs, never leaving a stone unturned for their complex medical needs. All staff are considerate, efficient and caring.
I had to move vets after 17 years with the same vet due to moving house. I felt welcomed by the team snd our darling Hope 3 year old toy poodle got very attentive service and a thorough diagnosis. I hope to enjoy the same loyalty and support that i got from my previous vet. So far so goodnnI had to visit the vet today with my other poodle I can confirm i got such reassuring help from Doctor Vivian she was so helpful, thorough and I definitely felt Billy was in good hands.
Having a reactive dog can make vet visits difficult and anxiety-ridden for both the owner and the dog. Vets on Balwyn make the experience so comfortable, from the friendly receptionists who make both you and your dog feel welcome to Michelle, the most knowledgable and competent vet you'll ever find. She was exceptional and thorough with my dog, again, making it such a positive experience for me and my dog who actually was happy to go into the practice to see her the next visit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
