Highly recommend Balwyn Veterinary Surgery. I have been taking my pets here for years. Most recently I took my chihuahua in for his annual check up and shots. The staff were very attentive and my little chi was very comfortable and loved the treats!
I just wanted to thank the team here at the surgery for how they handled our beautiful cat Pearl who recently passed. It was with the uttermost professionalism and a very kind and empathetic approach to Vetcare. Our family is really grateful for the service you provided and the follow up letter you sent in the mail with our kitties paw prints was just beautiful and so kind and sincere. Our deepest thanks for helping us through a tough time when it came to letting go of our fur baby.
Thank you to the wonderful team of veterinary doctors and nurses at Balwyn Vet Surgery. They took the utmost care of our cat from a range of veterinary issues to his final breathe. The level of care, professionalism and expertise from urinary tract, teeth, nose cancer, arthritis issues etc is outstanding. Above all the empathy,advice and compassion shown to our cat in his final moments is deeply appreciated by us. We knew we had the best earth angels for our fur baby .
Dr John was attentive and gentle with my cat. He took the time to answer all my queries and was very thorough with his counselling. Thanks to the clinic for squeezing me in within the week!

Amazing caring team! Took our corgis in as emergency and they do not charge you a fortunate when they can! Treatment before payment and they are much much much better than Vets on Balwyn! Higher recommended!
I was concerned that the clinic would not be open due to lockdown stage 3 and I became even more anxious. I called the clinic ahead of time and they provided me with the instructions of a new precautionary measures and enforce social distancing. I was fortunate enough to have Dr Marshall look after my scared and anti-social miniature dachshund without my presence and contact a thorough consultation over the phone. I'm very pleased with the friendly staff and exceptional service.
Great vet. The staff is always polite. The prices are reasonable and the care they have given my cat has been as good as I can ask for.
Dr. Amanda Gross is an amazing doctor. I am totally obsessed with my fury baby Cuba and when he is unwell I tend to stress due to his old age but Dr Gross will always provide the knowledge I need to be able to put my mind at ease. I never got to say how much I appreciated what you had done for Cuba and I know this is belated but I feel like I never got to really thank you properly on how you looked after Cuba in his surgery a few years ago, your service was amazing and so caring not only for him but for the parents also. Thank you so much for that, I am forever telling people around me how amazing a vet you are and I think its time to make it public.
