Veg Out Time is a small restaurant that sells various food options that are part of the Asian cuisine including curry with rice/roti, spring rolls, samosas and curry puffs. The curries are clearly labeled to indicate the level of spice and whether they are gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian which I found very helpful. The curries that I chose were delicious from my experience and the staff were very friendly. I will go back to Veg Out Time when I’m around South Yarra and I recommend it for those who like vegan/vegetarian foods that are part of the Asian cuisine.
Fantastic food. I went with a friend and we both had the rice with 3 courses. Each one was amazing. Addition, Grace and I have been back a few times since, so I've added some photos. We've gone to a number of functions in Chapel st recently and finding inexpensive, good quality vegetarian food can be hard, but with Veg Out Time, our problems have been solved.
This was once good. No more. Customers inside had their dogs. This is illegal being a food establishment. Very slow service. And the whole shop needs a clean and paint. Hopefully this is fixed. A real shame they have customers dogs inside. We are an office of 12 people nearby, but until the dogs are kept out, or the council steps in with a fine, our staff will no longer eat here.
Always more than happy to go out to eat there, so tasty vegan meals, I love it !! The garlic bread, as well as all the others sides are AMAZING!!
Had an awesome vegan char kway teow here. Definitely recommend checking this place out for some delicious vegan fare! Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options

One of my top spots for delivery. Veg Out Time is not only all vegan but also provides great value for money. I love the curry combo which allows you to pick up to three different curries plus rice. Their vegetarian pork buns are sweet and delicious and taste like the real deal. I also recently tried the char kway teow for the first time and it's so delicious.
super cheap and yummy vegan and vegetarian food! really conveniently located and the service was pretty good. we paid $11.90 for three dishes and 1/2 a plate of rice. there is also a cooked to order menu however i feel ordering from the bay-marine gives you the best value for money. recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a quick bite to eat!
This is the most underrated restaurant in Chapel St. The food is tasty without MSG, fresh and cheap. Best mango lassi in town, this place even if you are not vegetarian does not fail
Good choices of vegan options. Some menu items cooked on order. Some are prepared and in the bainmaree. Ready to eat Quick service Vegetarian options: Vegan options as well
