Nice little cafe along St Kilda. Spacious and plenty of sunlight if it is not cloudy. Coffee is good but the friend rice and roast port dish was delicious. Prices are reasonable and staffs were very friendly.
We visited Cafe Alleges for breakfast both days in Melbourne. The chicken schnity burger was amazing and the eggs-ben was 100% top notch!! Customer service was fantastic, with very well presented and professional staff. I look forward to visiting Cafe Allegra again
I come here almost daily for either my morning breakfast wrap or my afternoon lunch. Whilst I'm not a coffee drinker, my fellow colleagues insist that this is the best coffee within any kind reasonable distance, and the staff are amazing. Since about my second week working nearby they knew my name, my orders and were always quick on the banter. Glowing positivity every time I go there.
My favourite cafe because of the staff. Coffee is solid. They even offer a single origin that changes every now and then. Well priced lunch food with paywave and eftpos facilities. But seriously, staff are top notch there - good conversations have been had. Very personable.
Horrible Employer, the Boss is in most cases rude to her employees, yells at them in front of the customers and pay below-average 15$ per hour. She has definitely personality disorders and can't cope with humans. She's gossiping about customers as soon as they are gone and making really bad jokes about other staff members. If there is no problem at the moment, she makes a new one.
Nice atmosphere at Allegra, as well as a surprisingly wide array of food. Sub/sandwiches are their specialty, and have about 10 different varieties, if not more. Staff and service are pleasant as well; you could easily choose worse than Allegra!
Love place. Very nice food. A suggestion they can increase few vegetarian or vegan options. Except that nice experience. Staff was very friendly. Food is also economical. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Friendly staff. Most cooked food is tastey although the serves are small for the price, 1 meal and I'm always still hungry. Give the pies a miss, they are disgusting.
These guys were quite rude to me last week - I know I was only buying a coffee but there was really no need to be so obnoxious about it. I'll go next door next time so they can carry on chatting to themselves without interruptions.
Wow $9.50 for the Allegra Special - it was like a big breakfast and really good, except I'm downgrading them for hardboiling the poached egg.
