Cafe Piato

The owner served me a burnt toasted roll and when asked if it could be replaced, he was insistent it was not burnt. I asked for a refund which he gave me, but as I was walking away I could hear profanities. This is not how you serve or maintain customers.

Disappointing to attend to get lunch at 1.30 to find half the lunch bar closed even though there was a lot of food left and the server refused to make a chicken schnitzel sandwich. Amazingly same staff member walked out carrying what seemed like left over food. No point advertising you close at 15.30 when you won't serve customers at 13.30! Better places to eat!

Been there twice. First time a dreadful tomato and cheese toastee. Not worth the money. Then now, tomato cheese croissant. They pulled the ham out of it and toasted. Again, not worth the money. Then the coffee. .. again, not worth the money. My review, very average. Grab you espresso on way in I reckon.

Supported this business for a whole year, during covid, never wore a mask, spent a considerable amount of money. Then as soon as the lockdown is lifted, the owner, Brendan, refused to let me have a sit down meal because I am not vaccinated. You just lost a loyal customer.

Café Piato isn't bad, but it isn't anything special either. Their offerings are fairly standard, with no choices exactly out of the ordinary or unique, and the pricing can be bested by a few other cafés in the vicinity. What they do have however, is a nice enough environment for the working individual's lunch break. However, Café Piato is still everything you would expect from an average café, and not much more.

This is my weekday coffee and lunch go-to place. The service is always friendly and fast. There is something for most people tastes here for lunch. Caters to workers in the area.

Servicing an office building. Good coffee to have in or take away. Basic snacks for breakfast and lunch. Lot's of construction going on around it so steady custom from tradies.

It's a great place. All of the staff are friendly, food and coffee is good and amazing service. Definitely a go to place if you're workinf in the area
