Scoops Gelato

Popped into Scoops instead of joining the colossal line at Picollino. Got the Ferraro rocher today which was enjoyable but not a particularly generous serving which was surprising given there is so much competition on the street with 3 other ice cream stores

It’s hard when what could be a great experience with pretty good gelato and a wide variety of flavours is marred by the sever who just doesn’t get the spirit of Gelato. With Gelato vendors popping up everywhere part of the whole experience is the generosity - and the serving size is just terrible. So all and everything weighed on scales in front of you. Even the Milk shakes. Scoops are so small it’s embarrassing and when the scales come out you feel like going home and cancelling your odder. Nothing like the warm friendly feeling as your greeted at Lygon st Carlton and the generous portions almost fall off the cone. The Chinese owners seem to run it like a book but they have lost the spirit of gelato - sad when the product is actually pretty good and enjoyable. The experience is just so painful.

If it's decadence and that rich guilt factor indulgence you're looking for,... This is not for you. You will be disappointed. The taste of both their most chocolate flavoursome gelato range were quite frankly FLAVORLESS. It was mega disappointing, considering the display looked very appetising and delicious. Midway back to my apartment I threw it in the bin. 3 small scoops of watered down salted caramel and farerro flavour. $7....waste of money. For me also, the small Asian lady spoke not a stitch of English, she was of no real help apart from serving the product and taking the money. Walked to woollies instead to find something else.

Lol, they should just get smaller cups so the cup looks fuller when they try to put a small amount of ice cream in. I was really disappointed at the serving size, you can tell the server was trying to half fill the cup, too expensive and not good value at all. I'd they have decent serving sizes then I'd go back

There were chunks of other flavours in my icecream. Unhygienic and utencils were not cleaned. Staff were negligent and rude. All cups were filled to different levels. Icecream was not fresh at all and can firmly mention that the icecream was not "legally addictive."

Good variety & deals! I recommend it as every time I've got a gelato there I've not been disappointedunlike "Piccolino". Every-1 should give it a try when in the area & you feel like a cone gelato or on it's own.

Not bad, Cherry flavours was pretty delicious, Ferrero rocher was aight..... 7 apples down the road has better flavours I must say

I was so excited to try this Gelato place, I went there 2 days ago, the staff was really mean the girl was yelling at me, but I did not say more because she already made my Shakemostly milk..., no recommended at all.

Found the lady very rude and stingy. Took a long time to make the milkshake because she was trying to weigh it exactly. Was very disappointed in the milkshake, very icey at the bottom and left a bad aftertaste. Wouldn't recomend.

There was a cockroach in the ice cream and the asian lady serving tried to hide it in the ice cream after i had called it out and still tried to serce me the ice cream. Absolutely disgusting. Dirty owners! STAY AWAY
