Very clean swimming pool…Overall it is a great place to go. There are lots of restaurants and take aways around you can grab something to eat without having to go too far.
The pool is great. Prices are very reasonable 5.5$ for students. Staff is always friendly. The lanes are usually split in the middle so that each remaining lane is 25m long.
Only gym where I've been evicted from a machine by staff so they could complete their set. Older machines, overcrowded and inadequate opening hours - there are few to no aspects where this gym is better than others. Would not recommend membership unless residing on campus
At men's room, thief stole my brand new Tommy jacket at around 1 pm of 22/07/2018. There is camera outside the room but staff and campus security don't have access to it. Be aware of the thief in UNSW!! Besides, hair drier in the men's room of swimming pool is extremely dirty! No one ever cleans them!
Just wanna say the staffs during Wednesdays night shift were very welcoming. It was 9pm yet he was very welcoming and cool after i assume hours of working and meeting people in and out of the gym. Keep up the good work boys, love it... other than that, everything was perfect from cleanliness to customer service.
Great pool, friendly staff and not to busy. There is also a gym next door.
The gym has world class facilities, packed in the evening but still you can figure out a way to accommodate. In House cafe has a lot of variety dishes to enjoy chillax during workout hours. A lot of people like to watch their mate's, kids, etc. swim from the cafe.
Don't bother, they replaced most of their old reception and gym staff that actually knew what they were doing with new staff that don't care about you.
Swim school @ UNSW aquatic used to be good when YMCA was managing it but they left and now they are ran by another company since 2021. Current management is horrible, the customer service at the desk doens't know whats going on most of the time. They always overcharge me, but doesn't refund. No communication from them during holiday periods. Stay Away from them at all cost.
The swim school is terrible. They cancelled their classes for the easter long weekend and didn't send any kind of notification. You have to find out by wasting a trip there. Overall the management is chaotic and people don't seem to know what they are doing.
