I have noticed this going on for a while at the united petroleum west gate south westbound, Todd Rd. There is this bizarre obsession by the bespectacled staff lady to demand customers thru the loudspeaker to move their car to the two inner bowsers closest to the store, on evenings. It doesn't matter if those inner bowsers are occupied, she refuses to allow you to use the other two rows of bowsers no signage to indicate they're not for use. So imagine this, you park next to the bowser you want to use because the others are in use. The fuel doesn't come out. The lady in the loudspeaker tells you to move to the inner bowsers. Since when do petrol stations not let you use certain bowsers that aren't out of order? I know they're not out of order because when I went inside to talk at length about how unreasonable this was, she eventually let me fill up from that bowser without having to move the car. I get told the same dubious story each time, that the cameras cannot see the rego plates at the outer bowsers. How is this the customer's problem? I have heard the same excuse since at least last year. If there is indeed a camera blindspot, why not resolve the issue? They've had plenty of time. Service stations are meant to be convenient for motorists. Telling them to get back in their vehicle, restart the engine and reverse into a different bowser is very frustrating and inconvenient. I am also sure it isn't aligned with United's standards for customer service. Fix it. I'm sure the lady that works there is also tired of being yelled at all the time by infuriated customers seen it happen often!.
This service station is an absolute disgrace. The bathrooms are disgusting, unhygienic, unclean and full of graffiti. The smell is putred and couldnt even walk in there.nPlus the female toilet is out of order.nI told the staff there is racist graffiti and they said the reported it to head office a few days ago and they cant do anything.nHow can United allow this to be this appalling?
There was a girl in spectacles on the counter serving.. on Monday 9th Feb 2026 at 7pm ..I said the smoothie from kiosk was bubbly and not proper in taste.. still she forcefully charged me for it .. shameful
Normally don't have a problem with this place, but being asked to pre-paid for fuel at 5pm is a bit much, given there was no signage up anywhere indicating such. I genuinely hope that policy is re-considered.
Very disappointing, I wanted a combo meal for breakfast and he said we aren't doing chips then proceed to charge me more than it would have cost with the combo and chips included
