Had a breakdown engine stopped , had it towed to ultimate automotive , told it was the battery 400 dollars plus labour to put the battery in got told it was fixed, made my way back to tauranga exact same thing happened broke down again , had it towed back again , got told it was the fuel pump ok get it done , 650 dollars later for new fuel pump and towing I pick it up again got to tauranga 2 days from home to work car has done exactly the same thing it did the first and second times time it broke down ,i call ultimate automotive to ask how they got it going after I took it in , I was told it just started , what????? I tried starting it for 2 days even video of it not starting now I'm told after I had it towed there it just started , and now long weekend car is parked up the receptionist says I'm sorry dnt have much we can do for you maybe its electrical , ????? What did i just pay over 1k for , u never fixed the issue u bought it in for at all and now I'm in tauranga having to put it in again Ultimate let down and cost

Went for a wof here. Was told i had an exhaust leak, but the wof inspector couldn't tell me where from or show me any actual signs of a leak, he just didn't like how it sounded. I couldn't tell and the car had passed multiple wofs sounding exactly the same. Wouldn't of minded the fail for this reason alone but to be told it with a great big smile on his face was a little bit upsetting.
They picked me up from the petrol station, towed the car in, drained the fuel tank, gased it up got me back on the road in less than a hour $91.00 including gst. Absolutely awesome service. Cheers Dave Henry Recommended you talk to the team first, Ultimate Automotive
poor service, booked my car this morning for WOF at 1400 and they promised the car will be done before 3 as I need to pick kids up from school. just before 3 i checked on the car and they had not even touched it i asked if the car been done and they said we had only one mechanic! not only they failed to do the service on time they didn't even think to apologies that they didn't do it or even let me know before 3! wasted my day and my time.

Honest, friendly and very professional service. I was expecting to pay $1400 plus for cam belt and water pump for my Skoda as per estimated quote but they charge me $1280. Which is very rare to see these days . Normally mechanic always charge more then quoted amount. Thanks guys
