TwentyOne Cafe is a great stop for breakfast, or any other time that takes your fancy. Excellent service from all the staff, great food, and nice coffee. Plenty of seating inside and out. And their prices are very reasonable. Located in between the QT hotel and the grass covered building, its not hard to find. Bookings not reqd. Cheers and enjoy!
I really love the coffee here, and it's usually not overly busy at times when we have visited. We like going for a walk in Commonwealth Park, then stopping in to TwentyOne Cafe for breakfast. Also very polite and friendly staff. One of my favourite little cafe's!
Only giving 1 star for the quality of the kids milkshakes. 3 adult breakfasts, none of the toasts buttered, 6 poached eggs that were so solid we could have bounced them off the floor. Driest, most tasteless meal we had in Canberra. V disappointed given the other reviews. Coffee was passable.
This is a fab grocery store/supermarket/takeaway. We were staying at Hotel Hotel which is around the corner and because of a lack of service there we went hunting for milk. This is the place we found and the really nice people in this store helped us with directions and recommendations for dinner nearby as well.
We had many family members stay in the nearby QT and Capital tower recently for a wedding. Some stayed for days. TwentyOne became our goto place for quick meals, Groomsmen lunches on the big day and sad farewell breakfasts and coffees. We greatly thank the staff for all their help and accomodating ways. A home away from home!
Convenient but expensive. Don't forget your lunch if you work in New Acton. Sure, TwentyOne's food is good and made fresh, but it'll cost you half your days salary for it. Considering paying for parking in New Acton is the other half of your wage, you probably want to save your pennies and bring food/drink from home.
Came for breakfast, it's really unbelievable the price of the food. If you need extra bread they will charge you five dollars. There is nothing special on the food, small menu, not even healthy options.
Just bought coffee and savoury muffins for breakfast. The muffins taste like self raising flour & nothing else. Coffee tastes average. Very disappointing
Limit range of groceries and a lot of the fresh food isnt exactly fresh anymore. Food and coffee is ok, but overshadowed by many superior establisments nearby.
This was the last meal we had in Canberra before driving back up to Sydney. We hit at the bad time between breakfast and lunch - it was awkward to order, but what we did order was rather nice.
