Definitely one of the best cafes in all of Canberra. We managed to squeeze in for a table despite the cafe them nearly closing for the day and were met with fantastic fast service. The food is really awesome with the Reuben sandwich packed full of meat and cheesy as. The tacos are unique and plentiful; great value for money.
This place is next level! The coffee, food, service, it's all absolutely fantastic! Serving sizes are large, so be prepared to eat!! We had the chicken taco and scrambled egg taco, MASSIVE sizes, only thing I would recommend to the kictchen would be to go light on the caramelized onion, the scrambled egg taco had heaps so it made it very sweet, in saying that it was still unbelievable! My wife had the hotcakes, beautiful looking plate and tasted exactly how it looked. Price is on the higher side but honestly you are paying for quality here with both food and service. Can't wait to return!!
a giant meal for 55$. we were absolutely stuffed. the tacos are huge, thank god i didn't get another one. shakes were amazing, we got vote for pedro and summer. been coming here for years, always a good feed.
Did not meet the standard as reviewed. We ordered prawn taco with chips, chicken burger and the avo standard. Burger and taco were ok, not amazing though Avo standard was pretty bad, looked bad, tasted even worse, sourdough was too hard, smashed avo was tasteless, poached egg too not appealing at all, overall all the ingredients in this dish were bad. Worst was I ordered fresh cago,, it was overloaded with ginger giving it a bitter taste. We may have better luck next time
One of the best brekkies I’ve had so far in Canberra. I got the fritters and my friend got the hot cakes and we both loved the food. For me the fritters were a bit big but that was a minor complaint. The cafe is quite small and I’d recommend sitting outside rather than inside to have a nice experience. It’s easy to book through their website and choose you’re preferred seating. I’ll definitely be back here.
Nice service and delicious food, absolutely a local gem! The pulled pork egg Benedict was really yummy, especially I like the Hollandaise sauce which was really special. The tacos were in large portion with a lot of choices of ingredients, strongly recommend the prawn taco and pulled beef brisket taco. Overall was a pleasant visit!
Had a medium flat white and a massive choc chip cookie. My mistake was I didn’t ask the cookie to be warmed up, it makes a big difference. Cuz there is Nutella inside and in Canberra winter is too hard, warming up makes the cookie soft and oily somehow which makes it 10 times tastier I would definitely go back for coffee and pastry The shop is small but has a good vibe Lovely staff
Best breakfast I ever had. We tried ‘The Avo Standard’, ‘Crispy Corn and Zucchini Fritters’, ‘Loaded Fries’. All were amazing. Must try ‘Crispy Corn and Zucchini Fritters’. Sooo soo soOoo good breakfast.
The food was absolutely incredible, the tacos were next level, the Oh Canada was to die for and the food came out as we asked it to like entrees and mains, the staff were great
Freakshakes look nothing like photos online, didn't have any of the toppings was just an overpriced milkshake with a few pretzels. Service was terrible I stood at the desk for a long time before anyone even looked at me so I could order.
