Big woollies with all the expected departments. Quality seems pretty reasonable across the board. I shop here regularly to pick up what I can't get across at Costco. Pretty good fresh fruit and veg section.
my experience here was hell. Of course being located at canberra airport you’re going to get a lot of traveler’s passing through after a busy flight or whatnot. this Woolworths is definitely not what you need to encounter after that! there was honestly barely anything left on the shelves. now, apparently this shopping mall complex is popular around canberra… if that was so true then why’s there nothing available and nothing open and the customer service is beyond awful. they also, made us walk around the whole store talking to staff members about a covid test because no one at this woolworths apparently knows where the covid tests are!!
Went into majura park woolworths on Tuesday morning. I'd just like too say a big thankyou too Shirley and Karren your customer service is above and beyond .your freindy smiles and asking me how my day going .. you both are the main reason I shop at woolies majura park
A very big Woolworths store located near Canberra air port. There is plenty of space between each isles, well organised, well presented, clean and tidy store. Plenty of free 2 hour parking in the shopping centre. The store has a lots of variety of items for sale.
This is quite a good Woolworths it is near a food court. Good proximity to good car parking. Good proximity to good toilets. Good proximity to a small but good food Court. Near to Big W Near Aldi Near to COSTCO. Car wash near by.
Good -Wide enough passageway same as Gungalin branch. -Nice and clean. -There is food court in front of Woolly. -Ikea, airport, lolly pop indoor playground, coffee club, Toys R us, Burning warehouse, Big W and the cheapest gas station Woolly Caltex -Small indoor playground and toilet nearby. Bad -Nil
One of the big stores in ACT. Better to go early on weekends to get grocery, otherwise all bakery items will be gone.
Nothing left in the afternoon
Listen up Woolworths! I used to shop at Coles. I stopped shopping at Coles because they kept on overcharging me, sold rotten fruit and vegetables and their attitude was appalling. I've been going to Woolworths in Majura since. But now Woolworths is on the decline: empty shelves and rotten vegetables. I normally shop around 8.00 am to 9.00 am on a Saturday morning. The last few weeks, the fresh baked bread shelves were empty. An apologetic staff member told me that management had decided to move the bakery start times to later in the day. I was told that my bread would be ready by 11:00 am! What? If the shop opens at 7.00 am, and I'm there at 8.30 am, I don't want to wait 2.5 hours for bread! The last two months, the chicken/meat shelves have been half empty see photo to almost fully empty. Same with cat food and the cake section. When I asked where the chicken was, the guy who happened to be stocking the shelves told me he was all alone. I get tired of asking for this product or that product and trying to manouevre around the stockists who block shelves and fridges. Here's an idea. Why not stock at night time like you used to? The vegetables are now usually mushy and very soft. Yesterday, the capsicums were extremely soft and mushy and last week the tomatoes and Lebanese cucumbers were yuck. I went to ALDI instead. Woolworths posted a $1.72 billion net profit after tax, up from $1.53b in the 2017 financial year. Probably because they are cutting staff and shifting people from night shift to day shift and selling expired food. If there's no improvement, I'll go to Supabarn and ALDI.
As far as Woolworths go, this is a pretty good one. Great selection on fresh fruit and vegetables. Has a deli and bakery in store. Doesn't have an attached Bottle Shop but has an alternate option next door. Can't go wrong shopping here. Recommended!
