Dr Dinali is the rudest person I have ever talked with. She has zero interest in helping and makes you feel stupid for asking questions. I've torn the deltoid liegiment in my ankle and she told me if I can take 4 steps then there is nothing wrong with it. Two months later I find out the extent of my injuries and now require surgery because it was not dealt with correctly to begin with.
Be warned. Dr Dinali Kannangara is a dangerous person. I visited her for a necessary referral to Epworth and when i pointed out errors in the print out she refused to correct them. She yelled that this was not her responsibility. I had blood tests from Geelong hospital that also needed to be reviewed by her but she refused to do it, telling me to find another doctor.
The staff at the desk were really nice. The female Dr Dinali Kannangara I had a consultation with was very unprofessional. She rushed through the appointment as fast as possible and had a very rude manner. I went in for advice/ vaccines before travelling. She asks almost no questions. I showed her my Vaccine history and she gave me prescriptions for the complete wrong ones and ones that I was up to date for another 10 years? I left feeling like the appointment was a complete waste of time. I didn't trust that she had given me correct information and all of the needed information. I then booked a consultation at Karuna-Maya Medicine Tree with Dr Patrick Crowe who was very professional and spend 30mins ensuring I would be covered on all bases. He also showed me the dangers of receiving the same vaccinations too soon which would of happened if I took Kannangara's medical advice. Judging by the rest of the reviews about this Dr not sure how she still holds a job at this practice!
Dr Dinali a female dr at this practice is completely awful she has no bedside manner and is just beyond rude with no ability to communicate in a nice way whatsoever. I'm a very patient and understanding person but this woman is terrible every single time and the fact she has made me jump through such hoops to get some simple care while 30 weeks pregnant and carting a full of energy 3 year old around is insane. I have never been so upset by a Dr as I have with her and after today will never see her again. No wonder the clinic has 3 stars on google it should be 0. If I had the option I would be giving it a 0
3 cheers to the doctors, nurses reception and other staff that front up to work each day to care for us. Thank you Special thanks to Dr Dinali whom I’ve been seeing for last 2 -3 years. Great listener, never left rushed and excellent referrals to specialist and health care plans. Practically saved my life.
The Female Doctor “ Dinali Kannangara” here at Tristar Medical Torquay is horrendous. She has no people skills at all, she is very rude, can’t get you out quick enough and has a bad attitude. I highly recommend that you do not make an appointment with her! She shouldn’t be employed as a doctor! This is by far the worst consult I have ever experienced from a doctor and I have also heard similar experiences from a lot of people
The female Dr Dinalli is the rudest GP I've ever encountered in 33 years. Condescending. Shows little to no signs of care or of your condition. Avoid this 'docter' at all costs despite how desperate you may be for treatment or consultation.
Went to the female doctor here, was the second time I came here, haven’t lived in the area for long and am trying to find a good doctor. I went back even though my first interaction wasn’t the best but thought I would give it a try. She was rushing me out from the moment I got in there. In short, you’re better to turn to google than go to this doctor, she won’t take actual consideration of potential problem just will come up with the first thing she comes up with and then hand over an expensive script that didn’t do the job. I knew she was wrong having had what she prescribed before and it being completely different but thought I better listen to the doctor waste of money wouldn’t recommend avoiding this doctor anymore if I tried.
Appointment this morning for 8.30, Dr Dinali Kannangara wanders in at 8.45am doesn’t acknowledge her receptionist at all. Passes by her twice more, no acknowledgment. Wanders for another 15 mins then calls you in and snaps at you, re my address. At 75 at least Ballarat TRISTAR checks your BP before renewing my script. At no time did she look at me, just the computer! Forget this Doctor at all costs!!
I got treated by Dr. Dinali Kannangara. It was the worst doctors experience ive had, and that includes treatments in countries where I haven't spoken the language. She seemed in a rush to get rid of me, even though I hadn't told her everything which was wrong with me. When I proceeded to ask about other ailments she tried to cut me off, telling me she isnt getting paid for this. I'm sorry but am I not as valuable as your other patients. Incredibly rude doctor, DO NOT recommend
