I went here for lunch with friends on Saturday and was pleasantly surprised by everything, from the extremely helpful staff and the quality of the food. Very nice, clean restaurant cold air and, ample tables and chairs, but most importantly the food was exceptional and quick. I ordered the fried chicken burger, made it a double and added bacon friends ordered calamari and steak sandwich nLooking forward to returning to try different things
A small friendly tavern with good service and off street parking. Bright and airy dining/ bistro area, separate sports/TAB area, separate small pokies area.
The environment is really nice, especially with a kids' play area—perfect for families. The kids' meals are great quality and come with a drink and icecream, along with a decent portion size. The prices are very affordable. Overall, all the food we ordered was delicious, and we had a wonderful dinner experience.
Salt and pepper squid salad sounded good on the menu, but it could've used about 80% less sauce. All I could taste was sauce and the squid was soggy. Parmi was also pretty small. Our son demolished his bolognaise though.
We chose the T bone steak off the specials menu last week. For $49 we assumed it would be pretty good. The knife didn't even cut it let alone teeth. Mentioned it was as tough as old boots to the wait staff when they took the plate with the tbone still on it but I doubt she passed it on to the chef
