EDIT 01/12/2017. OMG. A new chef is reflected on inferior quality food and the fact there were only 3 tables at 6 through to 7pm on a Friday night the 1st week of December. We booked as we expected it to be busy. After 7pm there were only 2 tables!  

No dressing on salad. Ordinary chips. Mushy tomatoes. Seniors fish and chips was wafer thin overcooked fish finger fish. They obviously think seniors like garbage food. The salmon was ordinary. Two steaks were muddled up with the cooking. 

WE WILL NEVER COME BACK!

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I shouldn't share because we will never get a table. I am super critical in my reviews. Firstly today (Sunday) we were recommended to come half an hour later at 1pm. Thank you for doing that. No long queues. Food was brilliant. Kids had so much fun at the play area and jumping castle and face painting. THEY LOST ONE STAR because my grandson had his fingers jammed in games room door. PLEASE have this door remain open to avoid children being hurt. I was standing close by but was not quick enough

Truly a family hotel. Always has something on for the kids and of course the big kids. Great location and parking. The guys and girls working there are friendly and never seem too busy to give the kids a bit of time.
Oh and the steaks are magnificent.

Absolutely beautiful staff... Happy and friendly and helpful..... Megan with a H.....is an absolute pleasure to deal with and absolute delight of a person... Worth stopping just to say hello to her

Food was horrible. Steaks were cooked ok on the inside but outside was just burnt so all you could taste is burnt charcoal. Vegies were hard and cold.  Bathroom doors could not close or lock. Was amazing a few years ago but now very disappointing.

Beautiful food, chicken schnitzel was so tender. Very friendly staff and great prices. Will definitely visit again.
