One of the most if not the most incompetent centre ive ever seen in both the quality of doctors, wait time and reception friendliness. The only business that advertises appointments so you can sit there anyway like a walk in anyway for 1.5 hrs as the doctor goes slower so he can get tax funded overtime. Google is frighteningly more useful the most doctors here. How can a practice continue to operate at 2 stars???
So unprofessional it’s incomprehensible. Doctor Shukla informed me that he used to sniff petrol when he was young. He spends the appointment time talking extensively about himself, and now that it’s not bulk-billed, you get charged to listen to his unwanted stand-up special. He also shares private information about other patients and includes their names. He can’t even write a valid referral. Once, he rushed me through my appointment within five minutes, didn’t even attempt to address my concerns, and then opened the door and physically pushed me out of the room. Avoid this place at all costs.
This is by far the worst bulk billing practice I've ever experienced. I've a few health conditions that needed to be looked into and have seen 2 different doctors for these. Each doctor is as bad as eachother. They are nothing but rude, they will not listen to what you have to say or try to explain your symptoms. Because they're the doctors right ? Well they've misdiagnosed me and dismissed me and my health concerns. They just insult you and push you out the door. Don't get me started on the reception. The ladies are just as rude if not worse. The most impolite of receiption staff. Highly do not recommend this practice. Please do not leave your health concerns in the hands of these bunch of rude inconsiderate so called 'doctors' anywhere would be better then here. It's unfathomable how they are even still running as a practice.
Shocking patient care by Dr. Behnaz. I’ve never walked out of a doctors appointment before, but I couldn’t handle another minute of her lack of care. Very clear she wants to get you in and out as quickly as possible, didn’t listen to what I was saying, cut me off when speaking, very rough/aggressive with her throat lymph node check- coughed and brought tears to my eyes because she squeezed my windpipe so hard. As well as aggressively pressing on my stomach and saying “stop tensing your muscles!” I was seeking help managing depression and anxiety, instead I left feeling much worse. Waste of time!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. The most unprofessional, incompetent and rudest business in Townsville. If you care about your health do not go there. You are nothing to these people but a dollar sign. They won’t even look you in the face. They literally care zero. It’s a border line scam. And they don’t even try to hide any of it. Totally apologetic and non caring.
My doctor was taken off the medical register with no warning from the practice so i had to find another gp. On their website it sad one of the doc's i seen speaks good english but i couldnt understand a word. One of the receptionists named Rebecca was always so rude .
I found the receptionist to be polite and professional. I waited for my pre-booked appointment and only had to wait 15 minute past my proposed booking time which is acceptable in such a busy practice. I got to see Dr Ratna Shukla who was very professional yet easy to speak with. I would have no problem recommending this practise.
So last week I had an appointment, very important need an ultrasound for an issue pretty important. Allowed an hour but they never got to me before I had to go to another appointment, receptionist was nice, very sorry when i had to leave and still not seen. I live on Maggie so lost that day. Got another chance to get away from work yesterday so went to town. I booked an appointment. Had option for telephone consult or phone consult. Given I need an ultrasound I thought ok, that saves resources. Got a missed call an hour before the consult , rang straight back to be told the receptionist that called you is on break. Not sure what it’s about. Ok I’ll wait. 10 min later I got a rude call from the dr saying they don’t do telephone consults anymore that was during Covid. And the fees are going up Friday and I hadn’t been there since 2021 So thanks. Got a personal and serious issue and got the worst attitude from a Dr of my life. I’m private hospital money no issue needed some care and now I’m not sure what to do, love your ad about going the extra mile. Lies Dale
It is a shame I can't give zero stars or report this place. The way I was treated today was not only unprofessional but it was highly disrespectful. I was stuck at train cross for over 15 minutes which made myself 9 minutes late to the appointment and that was reason enough for Dr. Vinay Bhalla to rush me through my consultation, say that I was wasting his time, insult me saying that I don't know how things work in Australia because I wasn't born here and basically kick me out of the room because he's running late. If this is the experience people should go through when they're trying to take care of their health, Australian doctors are going to kill the health system in this country.
Please if you have a serious health problem do not go to this clinic. I have been to many of the doctors and only two are reasonable. One literally told me who cares everyone is going to die at some point and as I would share what was wrong he would slump in his chair and closes his eyes. Another practically yeld at me for being desperate and saying I need help and for doing my own case research. I've spent a year here and my health getting worse and I am moving on for this practice wish I had of earlier. I hope you find a better clinic if you have serious health issues. I think if it is minor help needed they are okay.
