I just brought this yesterday but no sign sayis almost pass , and I had really terrible taste, so I check date just 12/09/22!? I bright a lot , make me feel very bad !

Tong Li Supermarket is situated in Hurstville train station known as Hurstville Central.  I love this supermarket, so many delicious snacks to enjoy.. Please view all the pictures I have uploaded... My favourite was the Durian pie   I usually buy my fish balls, kimchi or Asian desserts there also.. They have an amazing selection of durian and salted egg range of food which is quite popular overseas in HK & Singapore.

I have bought an expired enoki mushrooms 3-day past expiry date using "special" buy strategy by Tong Li management. I failed to check the expiry date because I knew I am buying from a trustworthy local supermarket brand, I am truly disappointed.

Ok store. More asian variety stocks than Coles. Dont expect too much from staff. Be careful on choosing products, always check expired date.

Lots of good Asian food varieties. Not really fresh but frozen and packaged. Get the sense local Asians tend to go to other places. Fresh produce is better off from the near by grocers. Has some good staples

The register people need more training on their facial presentations, and attitude. If you badly need some Chinese and Asian food, this is the place to go, good range of selection, but bit squeezed as its tininess. The overall shopping experience is below average, no greetings, no thank you, no eye contacts.

Horrible customer service. When I complained about two different price tag for some product, the staff said " I don't know why we have another price" with bad behavior even he was upset and supprisingly he was a shop manager. When I said you're rude, he said I'm rude...hahaha. Also he was yelling to me " Complain me. My staff number is 665" . Worst staff I've ever met. Very disappointing about lack of staff education from Tong Li supermarket.

Good range of Asian groceries though their Japanese section is not as good as it used to be.  The freezer area is well stocked but this Tong Li doesn't seem as good or as cheap as the Ashfield store.
