I was with my wife at the fresh food markets today around 4pm  when I heard a man from Tom's superfruits yell out bitter melon for sale- 2 for $1. There appeared to be a lot of Asian people around waiting for them to be bagged up from a box. The customers kept giving the man two to bag up until another man watching from the side (The same guy who yelled out) said "Dont sell anymore" the man than took the box away and told those people if they wanted to buy them it would cost them $20 for the leftover ones. There was 6 or 7 left in the box. 
I see this as terrible customer service.
The person was either being very racist or was trying to scam people. As I think he jacked the price up to $20 which costs more than the original price of the items I don't think he wanted to scam anyone. I was quite pissed off and decided to leave the markets straight away not buying anything and leaving with a bad mood.
