Adore Tea Mitchell is one of Canberra's hidden gems, situated in an industrial area. Don't let this deter you... The atmosphere, customer service, aesthetic and quality are of the absolute highest quality. They have an extensive range of all different types of teas (200+), a meal menu with awesome scones and other foodstuffs, and teapots, cups and accessories that can be purchased. The prices set definitely match the quality, and it is a great stop for lunch or just some afternoon tea. I truly need to stress the quality of customer service. After being a loyal consumer at Adore Tea at Gold Creek, i was extremely disappointed at realising that the business at Gold Creek closed and had been under new ownership for quite some time. Since i travel from Sydney to Canberra solely for this tea shop (a testament to its quality) this stopped my trips after some shocking experiences at the tea shop in Gold Creek. However, after some research and a few emails, this place is the true Adore Tea and is exceptional. The girls working helped me with a tea that was discontinued and even went the distance to remake some just for me. They explained to me the situation with Gold Creek and clarified my misconceptions. I encourage anyone like me that has been deterred from their bad experiences at Gold Creek to come to Adore Tea Mitchell and experience the amazing teas, foods, and customer service like i have. Top tier high quality service from all the ladies working there! Thanks!

Fantastic service and staff were super friendly. Scones were fresh baked and fantastic, tea was delicious and the environment was delightful despite location.

Very friendly and polite staff. Very welcoming. Tea and food was excellent. Scones amazing. Will be going back.

Nice place. Easy to get a seat. Food wasn't slow, but on the slower side. If you have a longer lunch break, I'd recommend it.
