My son, daughter and I had a wonderful afternoon experience learning about coffee from the variety of beans raw to fermented, roasting technique and , and the art of making the perfect espresso and café latte. We need a lot more practice! Despite being a perfectionist himself in all things ‘coffee’, Michael was very patient and encouraging and we had lots of hands on practice. This course is suitable if you just want to make great coffee at home or if you want to start the journey of learning the art for work in good cafés.

I purchased an Aillio Bullet from BC and was invited to journey across town to the warehouse to watch Shaun and Michael put their Bullet though its paces. We did two roasts and they also put my in contact with another roaster to help me on my roasting journey. When the machine arrived, Michael kindly drove it across town to my place. Such friendly and inviting people at BC roasters, I would recommend Bean Culture Coffee Roasters to everyone with an interest in coffee.

Awesome! We booked a barista course for our Coffee addicted Dad for his birthday. This was the gift that will keep on giving as his home brews will now be certified excellence. Justin did an excellent job of making it a fun arvo and was extremely knowledgeable. Shaun was extremely accommodating for the 3 of us to undertake the training for a great birthday experience. This training was not the usual "grind", get yourself down there on the "double", give it a "shot" and "extract" your potential. P.S Don't be like my little bro, make sure to clean your steam wand, not sure why he can't respect the coffee game! ‍
I first discovered Bean Culture at the start of this year. I have been going there ever since! Whenever I call out to the Roastery to buy coffee I am amazed by the personal service I receive. Everyone I have met is friendly, ethusiastic, and passionate about the coffee - they can't do enough to help me. I thoroughly recommend Bean Culture for a great experience and outstanding coffee!
Just visited the pop up at Black Mountain tower. Amazing. Chris was incredible with my little girl and I. Best coffee I have ever had. Great service and we had a wonderful treat. Will definitely be an ongoing customer now!
We ordered a coffee station and barista for my brother's wedding - what a great idea! The coffee was brilliant and the barista Tally was friendly and professional. Tally even started doing eatable art - including a bunny design on my coffee. Couldn't recommendation any higher.
Took my nephew to do a coffee course here. Blown away. Amazingly down to earth people with a wealth of knowledge and the most engaging experience for him to learn. Highly recommend
It was a true delight! Shaun and Justin are amazing, they walked me through the roastery and allowed me to see their entire range of beans. Really, you can't get better than this! I bought a kilo of the Colombia Popayan and a kilo of the Honduras Mary Nery Marquez "El Liquidamber" at a great price; came home, grounded some beans, tasted it and hmmmyummm... mind blogging! Great, great quality. Visit the roastery in Mitchell, or their espresso bar in Northbourne Ave. Thank you guys! Looking forward to the next brew!
