Lovely little bookstore in the Mt Eden village. A reasonable coverage of fiction and non fiction books. They also sell branded greeting cards. There is a children’s book section as well with both picture book and fiction for young adults. Please check out their specials which are great value for money!

Cannot say that I liked the store since I was unable to enter despite showing my mask exemption! I have to admit to being disappointed as I love browsing through bookshops and usually end up buying a book or two, so an opportunity to make a sale was lost in the transaction.

This is one of the best locally owned bookstores in Auckland. Good selection of books and great customer service.

Really great store! Called ahead to get a book set aside, as online it said there was only one left in stock, and spoke with Elijah I think that was his name!. He was incredibly helpful with locating the book, called me back as soon as he found it a minute later. When I went in shortly after, they were super busy - so the fact that he took the time to locate quite an obscure book for me was fantastic. The team are friendly, the book selection is amazing, prices are great - all round an amazing local gem. Highly recommend going here to find what you’re after over the ‘big box’ store names.

They have a bunch of collection and helpful staffs. I bought 2 two books here and they help to warp it up with lovely ribbon

Lovely staff and people the manager actually says goodbye to people leaving but don't buy anything. The true test of the worthiness of an independent bookstore is whether they stock/help you discover interesting books that would never make the review sections of respectable overseas media the fact that much of our mainstream outlets do not run regular book reviews is a giant joke of itself. In that respect, they definitely hit the mark.  Support independent bookstores because you will only realise what's been lost when they are gone.

Great books ,great staff but the thing I love most is it's open until 9 every day! So the end of the weekend can be nearing oh no,please don't end weekend!   but you can still have a last minute treat and pop in to Time Out .

Timeout has the best selection of books. I'm in love with the little children's book nook at the back.. I feel like I could spend so much of my time there looking through the books.. I always leave with something and the biggest wish list for next time

There aren't enough bookstores like this! Lots of options depending on your preference and they'll order books in if they don't have it.  Love the kids section out the back and so does my 9 year old.  Awesome rewards program - it honestly feels like a good deal. I also love the staff - friendly and helpful and always happy to chat about a book. I also love that if you live within a certain distance they'll deliver orders by bike!

Best bookstore in town. An Aladdin's cave of books. Perfect for gifts for people who have everything! Always an amazing collection of books on a wide variety of topics, hidden treasures round every corner. Staff are super friendly, helpful, and allow you space to just get lost in a book. Do not miss
