Superb variety of books and other related products. Plus the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Whitcoulls is where I get my VOGUE hit. As a person who's been a model for 30+ years I need to keep current and the team at Whitcoulls St Lukes are amazing. They're a super team. They also have helped / guide me with gift books and books I need to read to escape my own occasionally dull life.

A really great selection of board games, books, an amazing selection of birthday/Christmas cards seriously, there are multiple shelves of cards! and other gift ideas. A really good place to visit at Christmas time, you'll be able to get most gifts, cards and even the wrapping paper.

Love the cooperative staff at Whitcoulls. They can guide your kid to buy the best books according to their age

Refused to exchange a book due to bureaucracy and what would seem a limited ability to access their network. Unhelpful and another reason to support smaller more local and better run bookshops.

Friendly staff and a good selection of books.  There is a large educational toy section in the store that had a variety of useful things that would make good gifts for the 6-12 age group.  They also seemed to have a good selection of recent and topical releases, including books that might have had a pretty niche release.

Large subtle store with a great variety range of books. Consistent sales and bulk deals. Sadly staff are unprofessional and unapologetic. Within the mall the store itself can’t be seen from the main foot traffic path.

Great service.  Previous day had found from Whitcoull's website that this branch was the only store in the country with the book I wanted in stock.  When phoned they checked the shelves to be sure it was there and put aside for me to collect later.  On arrival it was waiting, and they also found a second book I wanted on their shelves for me.  Great clicks and bricks combination that delivered what I wanted, when all the other web store NZ offerings were selling on the basis of importing on receipt of order.  The book was Quiet, a great book on the many benefits of being an introvert.

Whitcoulls have a lovely collection of calendars at Labour Weekend/October and a great range of novels to select. They discount by half the value of the second item chosen. I always mark up next year's calendar with birthdays etc. The assistants are always really helpful.
