Thomastown Railway Station is decent but nothing special. The trains usually run on time, but the facilities are fairly basic. There’s some shelter, but seating is limited, and the station could be cleaner. It serves its purpose for getting from A to B, but it’s not the most comfortable place to wait for a train.
The station is fine, its easy to access from both sides and the signs tells you which side the bus is on, probably needs some better amenities.
Not too busy not too quiet and trains are mostly on time. One thing I love about this station is that it has a waiting area so if it’s cold you can wait there to avoid getting a cold.
Service attendant stared at us through the window for at least 10 minutes before getting up. Rude beyond belief through the whole transaction. I asked to buy a concession myki and only found out once I’d added it into my PTV app when I was back home that I’d been given a child myki. I’m 25. Thoroughly disappointed. Have to pay again for ANOTHER card.
One of the newly built metro stations boasting contemporary architecture and subtle design. Ammenities like toilets, wending machine and a cafeteria is also available for coffee and a quick bite.
