The hostel is for sale, so some parts are a bit neglected, but the cleanliness is always impeccable. They clean in the morning and afternoon. There’s always someone at reception who is super friendly. You can wash and dry your clothes at a low cost compared to other laundries. The spa pool is a hit. I would definitely come back to this place again.
Incredibly disappointed with our visit here. We had booked a private double room with an ensuite and for us and our dog. We reached out a few days ahead of coming to confirm we were arriving late from the ferry and that there would be a key left out for us. We arrived at midnight to find no key and that our room had been given to someone else. No one was responding to our calls and we did not hear from the owners until the next morning. We did not have a car with us and nearly had to sleep outside but thankfully at 2am we were able to book a last minute room at Atlantis down the road would very much recommend Atlantis. We will never be coming back here!
It's a nice hostel, full of colors and details. The place is well-kept and clean. I had a good experience, a good stay. It's good for those traveling with friends, there's plenty of space to share and get together, play board games. My friend and I, for example, drank wine in a tree house while we chatted. If you're alone, it's also an option to meet people.
Bit run down, but clean. The lock on our room didn't lock, but it felt safe enough. The place/business is being sold at the moment and you can definitely feel that the upkeep is being neglected a little broken furniture, doors not locking etc. Nice place to meet people and exchanging tips when changing islands, though.
Dirty bed sheets and towel with stains. The receptionist was kind of grumpy when we asked for a change of bedding at night. Then they ran out of dishcleaner fluid. Otherwise nicely decorated and very cozy. Could be excellent if the few points above would be improved.
