Friendly warm environment with a lovely cozy fireplace. After a rough ferry crossing, the warm welcome from Rachelle was fantastic. Nice tidy rooms for a reasonable price, and in a lovely location close to the shops and waterfront. Very helpful in suggesting some walks in the area, and I felt so welcome I was sad to leave. The manager Devon was a hoot, and Esther was extremely helpful, going above and beyond.... I will definitely be back, Im sure!

This was the most amazing hostel I have stayed in in NZ! Simply amazing, very friendly staff, comfortable common area and even a balcony to chill out (-: it is very central and you can reach whole picton within a few minutes. I normally don't do reviews but this was just an amazing stay and I wish I'd still be there. Definitely be back one day!

I have stayed at a couple of places in Picton before but this is by far the best in the town! Fantastic accommodation, the best backpackers I have ever stayed in!! Great value for money, clean, tidy, quiet and a great atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful and the manager Devon was especially onto it when it came to the business.

Best backpackers in town!! Very clean tidy spacious and I loved the bean bags up stairs. Super friendly staff, especially the manager Devon he's fantastic. You can also get a discount at the pub in town if you stay there

I stayed at this hostel for quite a while and it was one of my favourites overall in NZ. Staff and management are very helpful and friendly, the facilities are perfectly fine and the furniture is extremely comfortable. It's located very close to the ferry terminal and the seaside. I had such an amazing time there and all in all I can only recommend it!
