Visiting The University of Sydney back in August 2009 was a memorable highlight of our trip. We came here because it was where a friend of ours went to university, which made the visit special.nnWalking into the main area and seeing the iconic Quadrangle building in person felt like stepping straight into a classic movie or a historic European estate. The Neo-Gothic sandstone architecture, the grand archways, and the beautifully kept green lawns make it a nice place just to walk around and soak in the atmosphere.nnIt’s not just a place for students. It’s a spot for travelers who appreciate history, architecture, or just want a peaceful stroll away from the busy city center.
Absolutely beautiful campus. The architecture is unreal, feels like you’re walking through something straight out of Europe with all the old sandstone buildings, but it’s mixed with modern facilities too which makes it feel really well balanced.nnThe main quad especially stands out. Super open, great energy, and you’ll always see people hanging out, studying, or just enjoying the vibe. It actually feels like a “college experience” type of place, not just somewhere you go to class.nnI visited while studying abroad and it definitely lived up to the hype. Easily one of the nicest campuses I’ve seen.
A leafy campus with a blend of historical and modern architecture. Unlike UNSW, USYD decides not to allow visitors to enter its library. If you’d like to visit a university library, which is a significant part of campus life, I would recommend going to UNSW not USYD.
One of the top and most prestigious universities in the world. I visited the University of Sydney on a sunny day luckily and explored their campus thoroughly. I fell in love with the Quadrangle that looks literally like the Harry Potter movies' Quadrangle. An iconic masterpiece to enjoy exploring and reading the history behind it across the building.nThis place is worth a visit on a sunny day for the most perfect lighting and appreciate the amazing architecture there.
I can't believe my daughter studies here and never ever bothered to take a single selfie until I started nagging her for it!nShe finally let me to go with her today!! I don't know about her but I am soooo excited!!!
