The school is most known for its strong academic presence but currently I’m not seeing much as “T” class studentssome of them do not deserve to be there. The toilets smell and I feel bad for the cleaners. There are vapers in the toilets near G block level one and clearly the school doesn’t take enough action on this. Also there is a huge discrepancy between teaching quality. The sporting opportunities for younger athletes are also not great as the sport teams are open so year 7-8 students practically make it to the team.Another thing is year 7 campthe great Aussie bush camp not NarrabeanIt sucks if you’re a boy.You don’t have toilets in your cabins and have pretty much no space to walk whilst the girls have toilets in their rooms and have space to walk. The boys had to shower in the shower rooms which pretty much you got dirtier if you showered because of muddy floors and limited time whilst the girls had showers in their rooms. The teachers complained about how us boys smelled.I WOnDeR wHY. One of the teachers told us we’d have time to shower on the last day and if our parents complained how smelly we were one phone call would solve the issue.WELl GuEss what that same teacher proceeded to rush us into packing and there was definitely no time to shower. When I looked at the website after camp there were no girls and boys cabins so that means the school chose the arrangements.I would of preferred if it was random. Also I don’t know if this was the camps fault or the school fault but on the camp letter it said “sufficient food” would be given. To be fair it would be sufficient if we had double servings. The food was not sufficient at all. They’re telling me 5’10 students or just insanely tall students with good builds eat the same as a shorter and less athletic build.I don’t think so.nnSorry to all the teachers who do their job and all the chill students
This school is alright. The teachers and education are pretty average, and the students are all right to get along. The only thing that it can improve is cleaning the toilets.
School is horrible they don't let you express your opinions when you get in trouble for unreasonable things. Teacher are hostile making it feel like a prison
bro this school so bad, I would rather eat a fish then go back to this ahh school. DO NOT GO. very bad very bad. also the vibe of the school makes me wanna bungee jump and hope the wire breaks. really dull and really bad. pls don't go for your own sake. and also you won't notice a difference they literally teach the same stuff man. so overall : NO
I spent year 7-10 in a private catholic school system, which I absolutely hated! I convinced my parents to let me go back into the public school system and cherrybrook tech was my choice as my passion has always been computers/IT. I learnt more in year 11 and 12 than I did in 4 years in the private system.nnThe teachers here were beyond the best!! You could easily have a great relationship with each teacher, they would treat you properly and would always go out of their way to help you, but at the same time, we could always find the chance to have a laugh and a joke and be able to have that great connection! It was always a joy to come to school!nnConsidering the size of the school and the amount of students , everything was well organised, proper schedules in place, everything ran like clockwork! The library was a great place to hang out at lunch especially for those who were really into computers!
