I have been a student at this school from K-6 and absolutely loved it. I liked all my teachers and lessons, and enjoyed all the extracurriculars I could do, like dance, music and debating. Would highly recommend! On an academic standpoint, this school has provided me with an exemplary education.
Very nice teachers except for 1. She got me in trouble for eating while I was sitting on the floor at lunch. Like who does that . But the chicken strips r yummy. And in English we get to draw illustrations of storybooks and in math we get to design a house. Only in the good classes tho. Sport is ok and the bees are annoying .
As a former student of JPPS, from kindy to year 6, I must say that JPPS is a spectacular school! I looked forward and enjoyed coming to school everyday. The teachers are amazing educators! One thing to look out for is the disgusting bathrooms that are infested with moths and other bugs.
I have been a student at this school from kindy to year six and I must say, it’s a wondrous school!!nI liked every single teacher I’ve had and looked forward to every day at school. The staff are helpful, the students are fairly nice and the teachers are the best I’ve ever seen! The school is large and has many playing areas so you never feel too trapped!nnEducation is also very good in JPPS. I remember one year, we had three people in top 1% of the Math Olympiad program.nnIt wasn’t easy leaving John Purchase and I definitely recommend this school!!
As a past student of John Purchase Public School, the school lacks the motivation to enshrine the many cultural backgrounds of the student body. For example, many Indian students attend the school, yet the main emphasis on the school is on Christmas, rather than the more popularly celebrated Diwali. The school has an irritating love for giving out awards, rather than actually genuine events, like the school’s Harmony Day. In addition, the school fails to maintain it’s toilets and COLA.
