It is with absolute pleasure that I write this review.  Nearly three years ago I dislocated and fractured my right ankle, including tearing all the tendons and ligaments apart.  My first initial contact with the SCCO really put my mind at ease.  Since that time, I’ve had a number of clinical visits and surgeries with the best outcome anyone could ever ask for. Even my physio is in awe of the fantastic work performed on my ankle.  If I was asked to rate my experiences with the SCCO team:  Reception staff: ten out of ten for professionalism, friendliness and customer service. The staff go out of their way to make you feel valued and comfortable.  A very special and heartfelt thank you to Maree Ward, Dr Dion Noovao’s personal assistant. Maree has seen me at some of my lowest times and has always had a smile, and warm and comforting manner which is very rare to find these days. Thank you Maree.  Surgeon: Dr Dion Noovao.  Where do I start, Dr Noovao is an absolutely amazing person and surgeon.  I have seen other people who’ve been operated on by other surgeons not at SCCO and not had anywhere the same fantastic results.  Without Dr Noovao weaving his magic in my right ankle, I doubt I would be driving or bush walking again.  Dr Noovao is such a down to earth professional who takes a considered approach, explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand, allowing the patient to be able to make an informed decision on his advice and recommendations.  Thank you Dr Noovao  Surgical assistant: Nurse Practitioner Claire O’Carroll, such a knowledgeable, caring and professional person. Seeing Nurse O’Carroll pre surgery and then at the post surgery visits shows she really does value the patients under her care. Always smiling, always willing to ensure patient care is foremost. Thank you Nurse O’Carroll  I seriously challenge anyone to find a better team than the SCCO team.  Once again, thank you all so very much for everything you have done for me, I’m eternally grateful. I was forced to cancel my 2 weeks post op appt due to my current personal circumstances. When I called I got Maree, I explained my situation and why I couldn't attend. Rather then work with me to find an alternative her attitude was utterly appauling and just plain unprofessional! When I explained why I couldn't attend her exact words were "thats fine ill tell the doctor and nurse you've done your medical degree and don't need to come in" which was completely uncalled for and couldn't be further from the reason I couldn't attend! I couldn't believe it! You would think someone working at a specialists office would be much more professional and understanding of peoples circumstances. I also sent 2 emails to try and find an alternate way to achieve the same result they were both ignored and not replied to. On the other hand Dr Noovao was excellent. He got me into surgery extremely quickly and I was very happy with his services!

After 6 weeks visiting a GP 4 times with terrible pain My GP almost put me off to go to a knee specialist  in the end I was so desperate with pain i looked up Sunshine Coast knee specialist   and found  DrJames Tunggal I had an appointment on the Tuesday and Surgery on a Thursday at the end of the list  KNEE ARTHROSCOPY I walked out of the hospital that evening pain free after suffering for all that time .  Thank you James  you saved  my quality of life  We should leave the diagnosis to the specialist  not the GP who  just keeps us coming back to bleed the government system.

I have had numerous hand procedures with wonderful results each time and am now pain free and drug free thanks to Dr Latendresse. Now I  can keep enjoying my cooking and gardening.
