The Spaghetti House Trattoria

Great atmosphere. Staff very helpful. We had 5 people. 2 loved their meals. One loved but the best ever had. Two found Gnocchi was nice but not great.

Great service and delicious food. Gets packed really early so you need to book! We ordered garlic bread to start but it was very unpleasant, raw garlic...... not nice. But the rest of the food was amazing! Great wine & beer too! SECOND VISIT: We ordered the ciabatta with olive & balsamic for entree, the bread was great but the balsamic was so bitter I couldn't eat it. When we go next time we will definitely skip the entree! We both ordered the lobster gnocchi again and it was as delicious as the first time. My only complaint was that I got 2 pieces of lobster in my plate and my husband got 7!! Luckily we were sitting together so he gave me some of his, if another patron had ordered the same dish and he got 7 and I only got 2 I wouldn't have been impressed. It should have been served equally.

Staff and management we're amazing. Order came out extremely salty and they were fast to fix it. Would definitely go back again!

Wow, spent 4 days at a Business conference at Southbank Brisbane and ate at the Spaghetti House 3 out of the 4 nights!! Great variety of genuine Italian meals, fantastic service and an excellent all round experience. Looking forward to returning next time I’m in Brisbane!!

I dined at Spaghetti House after a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately I did not enjoy it as much as she did. The service was extremely dismal - it took the waiter 30 minutes after sitting down to take our food order, and our drink order was taken when we sat down and no one asked us again throughout our meal. I would like to say the food made up for the poor service, but unfortunately it didn’t. Both of the meals ordered were flavourless and bland, I had to ask for salt to try and recover the meal. Once dinner was finished we had to wave the waiter back over because we were left sitting there for 15 minutes, he cleared the table and got the bill, did not ask how the meal was or if we wanted to see the dessert menu. I regret going to this restaurant and wasting our money on such a poor experience.
