Loved the authentic Japanese atmosphere of this place and special appreciation for the robot waitress! A true Japanese sushi place with modern styling and decor. Staff were welcoming! The only thing that let this place down was the food. The fish was fresh and delightful but the rice was very dry. I tried an array of different dishes to see if it improved but it remained relatively tasteless. A little disappointing because prices were exceptionally high for sushi. I loved the atmosphere, it was quite private in your booth - a perfect place for a date or catchup. Would come back! Vegetarian options: Plenty of options on the menu.
Impressive restaurant, food was delicious and the menu has a lot of different Japanese options. I love the robot that serves your food, it is a great attraction and it’s fun to see it roam the restaurant delivering food. Staff are all friendly and really effective. Great experience and I hope to be back soon!!
Impressive Japanese themed restaurant from top to bottom. Excellent friendly helpful and service with a smile. Large array selection of authentic Japanese dishes as well as beverages. We had three Octopus sashimi and examined for entree. The Octopus tentacle sashimi had that beautiful smoky flavour was tender and beautifully seasoned. It was a delight to eat. I've never eaten Octopus before. Then we had the salmon Bento box and wagyu Bento box . Huge servings, great food presentation, fresh ingredients, full of flavours. Always a first robot driven that delivers your food to your table. Overall, I had an excellent dining experience at this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended Would definitely come back.
Takoyaki for an entree followed by Chasu Don for my main course with an Asahi Soukai as my preferred beverage. I even managed to correctly order via the new self-serve digital menu, which came into effect from yesterday. Very pleasant & welcoming staff, most of whom are Japanese nationals.Food: 5/5
Wonderful traditional Japanese cuisine accompanied by excellent service. All our meals were well presented, tasty and fresh. The quantity and price was excellent. There will be a next time and you should definitely try it too.
Had a lovely time with our family, the service was lovely, the prices were very reasonable and most importantly the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the miso soup followed by the eel. The miso was so flavoursome and the eel melted in the mouth and was sans the swampy taste you get with some restaurants. Can’t remember the name desert, but it was ice cream wrapped in rice cake, had to order two for good measure. If you haven’t already, try the sake hot.
Great food, having your food delivered by a robot is a little strange, but no problem. Highly recommend the sashimi very fresh. Overall had a great lunch.Food: 5/5
Have come here for takeaway as well as dining in. The food is usually great, sometimes there are a few hiccups with ordering which I assume are due to language barriers some staff are not fluent in English yet which leads to incorrect orders and some miscommunication. Wait times can vary; one day you'll be served within 10 minutes, other times you'll find yourself waiting over 40. Overall, the food here is good enough to keep me coming back.
I’m a regular customer, their foods are always tasty, sashimis are fresh, and services are good as well. Last Saturday I ordered food from Ginga, and after I arrived Ginga I discovered that I had a flat tire, I told my situation to a staff Dan, and he helped me changing the tire!!! It was a 30 mins hard work under the sun, Dan cut his finger and got his hands all dirty! Dan has a big heart, and I want to give a big shout out to him, and thank you for getting me out of the awkward situation.. Not only Dan has a big heart, the fact that Ginga allowed their staff to help a customer that much proves that Ginga is a good restaurant that does care about customers I’ll definitely go back and order more delicious sushi from them
