I had a wonderful time at your restaurant tonight. Kind staff, delicious food, soft Indian music, good energy . The naan was crusty and tasty. The samosa dressing was a mixture of tamarind and a light sweet minty flavor and was unbelievable. It wasn’t too sweet as often Indian restaurant do. Balanced flavors. (I personally wouldn’t use capsicum in the vegetable curry but people do like it) A real delight, I highly recommend it!

Menu said that the $18.95 curry was for two people, which sounded like good value. However it came in a small dish and was barely enough for one person. We checked with the waiter who confirmed that the small dish was indeed the 'curry for two'. The curry was bland and didn't have much flavour. The naans were $6.50 each, weren't that big, and didn't have much flavour either. We left the restaurant feeling totally ripped off, and still feeling hungry. We've been to heaps of Indian restaurants, and this was by far the worst. Small serves, little flavour, won't be going back.

I have eaten Indian food in many places and this ranks as one of the worst. The service was good, a waitress that took orders for 7 people in our group all by memory, impressive, but it was all downhill from that point. The water was tepid, not chilled. The Korma we ordered was one of the worst I have ever tasted, not the usual creamy taste. The coconut rice was dry and not creamy. The naan was ok, but nothing to save this meal. The worst, as others have mentioned, was the serving size... Advertised as 'curry for two' but came in a bowl, the same size as a single serve, that was $5 cheaper! We called the waitress over and asked where the rest of the meal was, and she was quite embarrassed to explain that we had received the 'curry for two'. Nice location, but other than that, do yourself a favour and choose to eat elsewhere.

I had lunch with a friend and we each ordered an individual serving of curry. We also asked to "upgrade" our rice, that was part of the "all day special" deal. When we paid the bill, we did not understand why we were fully charged for 2 serves of rice even though rice was supposed to be included in the deal; when we mentioned that we have not received the salad that was suppose to be included in the deal, we were told that "it is not really a salad, it is just garnish", and not even an apology. Needless to say, the only salad we received was one leaf of decorative parsley. The dishes were tiny, but for $13.95 we could find a much better lunch. I love leaving positive feedbacks to restaurants normally, but I just can't do it in this case.

Gandhi rastaurant is a Joke! Today was my second visit. First visit was 5 years back and had the worst experience, I have the same experience again. I was served almost cold food, ingredients were cheap- potatoes, carrots and beans? Surely they can use cauliflower and broccoli in Biriyani. I don’t know why they still open. Owner or Chef should taste other restaurants food because I can cook far better than them. I read the comments below and they are only responding who gave them a good feedback. That’s clearly seen that they can’t take criticism or they are not interested grow.
