The manager is rude and clearly doesn’t like children or people in general to be was my observation. I picked up a book that didn’t have a price and was accused of taking the price off to another member of staff. If you’re going to do that make sure we can’t hear you. That’s a really bad accusation to make particularly in public. Just saying.
This Salvos has become more affordable since my very first visit. Their colour tag sales are fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Store layout is neat and inviting. Finally a salvos I like visiting. Ty

I wish I too could give a big fat "0" to the staff member with no customer service skills. I was in your store at the Mordialloc on Main St this afternoon,  I was carrying my Toy Poodle/chihuahua, and not once did I place her down while I was looking through the box of soft toys,  which I had picked out 3. I was on my way to the book & pet section to search for more items to purchase.  When a young man came out from the back and was told rudely to " get out" as dogs were not allowed in the shop I did not appreciate the tone in which he spoke or the way he just walked up without even greeting me. All I can say is maybe before kicking people out of your store ask them if there is a reason we have our dogs,  I have just been through 4 major operations in the last year,  so she is my support dog and this was my 1st trip out in 2 months since my last joint replacement operation. At least the Op shop a few doors down was more than welcoming and supportive and allowed us to shop.
Such a great shop! I was so surprised at the quality of stock and the low prices. I have never seen such a Salvo store with this many quality items. I bought a few gorgeous summer dresses for $5 each and I feel like I fell upon a treasure chest! All my clothes are ruined during a recent house fire and I am so happy I found this shop.
If I could give a zero rating I would. I have not been here for 3 years and the manager is still the same horribly rude person who creates a very unpleasant experience. My toddler picked up a toy and immediately she was behind us telling him not to touch it, and pretended it should have has tape on it stating so. I’ve had this issue with the same lady many years before. When going next door to the lions op shop I explained my frustration when literally 8 people came forward with similar situations with the manager there. She is Cleary well known in the small community for being rude and horrible. One man stated he had gone in with a homeless man to get a free blanket and she refused, what a disgrace.
The store has recently been refurbished and it is looking beautiful. One of the best op shops I've been in for sure. I went in on Saturday and found loads of gorgeous items and the prices are really good too - there was a lot of good brands some even with tags and most things I picked up were under 10 dollars. The staff were lovely too and very hard working. Can't wait to come back!
Great items, never know what you'll find. Has been given a very stylish makeover. More like an upmarket boutique than an op shop. Always a pleasure walking in. Good quality, lovely set up, friendly welcoming staff. Excellent location.
Great Salvos store, decent sized with plenty of goods. Pricing based by location I assume. As others have said it can cost a bit more but they definitely still price well. Great staff every time I've been.
