I purchased a used set of golf clubs from this store. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The following day I came back with a small problem with my purchase and they resolved it immediately with the same friendly service. I will go back there in future if I find that they have what I need.

Test everything before the 90 day warranty runs out. 2nd edit: cheap prices comes with goods that desperately need a clean - consider bringing a thin sharp object and Isopropyl alcohol wipes to clean what you buy before you pollute your car with it.

Dealt with Paul, the webshop operator of this store and was advised an item was too new to discount.  Fair enough, perfectly understandable.  Thirty minutes later the item is sold, for 20% off aka $100 discount...hmm, that's weird.  Not really acceptable treatment of a customer honestly, and being a fellow cash converters employee myself, expected much better.

Got charged $69 for an item which also had a $59 dollar sticker, a discrepancy that was pointed out at the front desk while i checked over the product. At the time, i was too tired to argue the point, but it really bugged me, that could have bought me ten 7-11 coffees

Second time I've come in don't ask why I came in again and Samantha in the jewelry section is so unbelievably rude. She is absolutely passive aggressive, sarcastic and has terrible customer service. No idea why she is in customer service at all. She belittles you as she speaks to you. I'm not the only person who she has spoken like this too. It's actually so disrespectful. You work in cash converters, you are not some superior being. Never coming back.

Been a customer for well over 15 years. Took my $1200 laptop to get a loan they wouldn't give me more than $100 yet took same laptop to Frankston store and got a loan for $250 on it had previously gotten $200. When I asked for $250 this time I was told no problems as I'm a regular loyal customer. Parkdale will Never get my business again.

Overpriced, retail manager doesn’t even know what he is talking about

Amazing service from all staff at the Parkdale store. The lovely lady in charge of jewellery today made me feel so welcome and I find that so refreshing these days. Keep it up.

I called up this morning looking for a game, and thought that it would be an easier interaction over the phone so i could allow them time to actually take there time and look for it. After calling up i spoke to a lady who then went on to ask another man whether or not they had it or not, i could hear their entire conversation ... Then he went on to say just wait 30 seconds and then go back to the phone and say we don't have it, UM? If you're gonna be lazy enough to not look for an item even after I've called up asking, learn how to mute your phone so I can't hear your entire conversation and know that you're lying. I know for fact that i will not be bothering AGAIN with this store with the lack of care by the staff to even do there jobs, ESPECIALLY SEEING AS YOU STILL HAVE A JOB TO WORK UNLIKE HALF THE REST OF THE PEOPLE RIGHT NOW. thanks for listening.

They could do better with buying prices on gold was not happy with the loan amount I got.. When comparing the live feed gold prices and cash converters they rip people off by about $10 a gram if it's 9ct... So do your homework before if you decide to get a loan on gold products they will hit you with big interest on top of the loan price. Buying from them is ok but selling is another issue.   Better off going to a proper gold buyer that will give you the best price on your Gold products
