Gotta love a traditional local pub in the suburbs. Friendly helpful staff, providing a ramp for a wheelchair, as all entrances include a step. Great atmosphere in the front bar, prompt service & a menu with the traditional favourite plus more. Entrees of chicken liver parfait, arancini and crispy chicken ribs, with the parfait being standout amazing. The dining room includes a display of ageing steak which is must viewing. Highly recommended.
Had such a great night here with friends. We started with drinks outside before our booking in the bistro. Although it was busy, the staff were so attentive and fun. We had garlic bread, scallops and oysters as an entree all great & very fresh, then the boys shared a steak while is girls had caesar salads which they adapted to our tastes. Dessert was also squished in!nThe service, food and staff were brilliant.nIs it the best steak in Melbourne? I wouldn't know as I don't eat it pescatarian, but the boys said it was well cooked they said, go medium rare for a better steak. More vegetarian options apart from cauliflower would be great too, but I understand it's more known for meat!
A great pub to catch up with friends and enjoy one of the best steaks in Melbourne. The night was made more special with the attentive and fun service from Sarah, she really did make it a fantastic night out. She asked me to say that - not really :. Seriously the food was great and the service was amazing.
It provides traditional Italian services and atmosphere. You can have different kinds of steak here, but also other food like fish and pastas. We have ordered eye filet and potherhouse. The potato chips is also a must try here.
Super slammed last time I went and the service showed it. Overall food was good and atmosphere was buzzing however, one steak was overcooked after an hour wait. Other than that the evening was as expected.
