Story

The Plough Inn dates back to 1864,it is claimed Ned Kelly had ridden his horse down the main hall of the pub,while that may just be a tale,Ned did work in Tarrawingee and it is said that he and his gang would have a drink or two and would sit on a knotted wooden bench which is still here today(ask to see Neds bench!

We called in yesterday for lunch and although the kitchen had only just opened, had access to the full menu. Our meals were superb and tasty. Smaller size meals were also on offer and still very much large enough to make our elderly aunt and uncle happy. The beer garden is relaxing and pet friendly.  We will definitely be back. 👍

Loved it. What a gem of a shaded rear courtyard, great pub grub....a historic place full of character & charm. Great host.

Lovely food, catered well for vegan eaters too. We had Pad Thai noodles and a Vegetarian pizza (no cheese). Great garden area, lots of space.
