How do you not give this pub 5 stars?! We had dinner at the Pisent Pub tonight and it was outstanding. The food was phenomenal. I had the chicken tandoori stack and my partner ordered the Mexican parma, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Generous portions, full of flavour, and clearly cooked with care. Everything on the menu looks like a winner.nThe service was just as impressive. And old school table service! What a terrific place. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive without being over the top. It’s exactly what you hope for in a great country pub.nIf you’re in Wangaratta, this hotel is definitely the place to go. Fantastic food, great service, and a really lovely atmosphere. Oh and say hi to Claudia - SHES THE BEST!!
Easy to find, parked nearby. Didn't have a booking but arrived early and got seated straight away. Food was good for the price and we were happy because it was open when many other places were closed. Large bistro dining area could suit large groups too. Staff were helpful and available. This business also offers table service which is rare.
Good value. But depends on which room you get. Front bar has food but does look like they are upgrading the area. Good food in the dinning area. Poker machines in the back. Aircons are hit and miss. Rooms are pub rooms but with a full bathroom. Right in the middle of town, everything around and plenty of parking. Also drive through attached.
This place is amazing. Exceptional service, quality food at a very reasonable price. We stayed overnight after a long journey and couldn't be more impressed. Clean, authentic and classy. Highly recommend.
I recently dropped into the Pinsent Hotel and overall it was....fine.nThe service was fine, the setting was fine, nothing particularly memorable.nI ordered the 300g scotch steak, which was cooked well enough, but that's pretty much where the positives stopped. The steak was tough, chewy, and full of sinew, which made it pretty disappointing. It came with a small side salad and what felt like a handful of chips, all adding up to a $46 meal that didn't feel worth the price.nMaybe other dishes on the menu are better, but honestly, I won't be back to find out.
