We ended up here as a last resort after everywhere else in Beechworth was fully booked, and I’m so glad we did! I ordered the scotch fillet and it was honestly the best steak I’ve ever had. It was cooked perfectly, and the atmosphere was great too. Definitely exceeded expectations and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a banging meal!
Easy to find, parked nearby. Didn't have a booking but arrived early and got seated straight away. Food was good for the price and we were happy because it was open when many other places were closed. Large bistro dining area could suit large groups too. Staff were helpful and available. This business also offers table service which is rare.
Centrally located. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Our room included an ensuite which was clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Very good value for money as well.
I came for dinner with my family. The man I assume was the manager was absolutely lovely, extremely friendly and hospitable. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the rest of the waitresses.nnThe food was pleasant enough, however I don't recommend the lemon lime bitters. We also waited a very long time in a relatively quiet restaraunt for our order, which they initially mucked up, meaning an even longer wait. My son's ice cream also came another 25 minutes after we asked for it.nnWe generally love dinner at the Pinsent, but unfortunately this time around it just wasn't great.
I recently dropped into the Pinsent Hotel and overall it was....fine.nThe service was fine, the setting was fine, nothing particularly memorable.nI ordered the 300g scotch steak, which was cooked well enough, but that's pretty much where the positives stopped. The steak was tough, chewy, and full of sinew, which made it pretty disappointing. It came with a small side salad and what felt like a handful of chips, all adding up to a $46 meal that didn't feel worth the price.nMaybe other dishes on the menu are better, but honestly, I won't be back to find out.
