We went in late. They close at nine and we didn't get there until 8:30pm. We were still made to feel most welcome. We are vegetarian and we felt the menu choices were lovely. The waitress was very friendly and the food was delicious. There was an error made in the order....not sure if it was my error, but the dish was immediately replaced, with no hesitation at all. We definitely can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

Excellent Middle Eastern food with generous use of spices. Best falafel I've had in Brisbane, proper chickpeas and cumin laden ones. The chef at Pine Kitchen has integrity in terms of serving authentic Middle Eastern food. Sadly, the decor is bland, devoid of atmosphere. Also lacking in floor staff and a manager to oversee service. Shame as the Middle Eastern food is excellent.

Tried out this place for the first time and left feeling very underwhelmed. I ordered a tumeric latte and my partner ordered a turkish delight milkshake. We paid for our order and sat waiting. After a few minutes a waiter came over and said they couldn't do milkshakes because all their icecream was melted, so my partner picked a new smoothie off the menu. Shortly after this another waitress came out with my latte. As she is handing it over she asked "is a plain latte okay? We have no tumeric." I am not sure why she didn't tell me about this before she made the latte. She never offered me another menu item and I asked for a refund, which she almost gave to me in 20c pieces. My partner got his smoothie, which he said was okay but not the best. I feel like since they are very close to a supermarket they could be stocked a lot better. After reading other reviews it seems others have had similar bad experiences with the cafe part of the shop. I think they are missing out on business as they are so close to the train station. Needless to say I don't think I will be ordering anything from their coffee shop again.

Been here twice. Both times I ordered a coffee and banana bread and both times left disappointed I thought the first time maybe they were just having an off day as it was newly opened but no this is just a terrible cafe. Both times I asked for a slice of banana bread which was just warmed up not even toasted with no butter or anything the first time and Second time it was burnt banana bread but again no butter so dry burnt banana bread and the coffee isn't great either border line awful in fact. So please don't waste your money here there are plenty of nice cafes in Toowong village.

Visually attractive, good location. But unfortunately we went in, ordered the banana and honey smoothie which only required 1 banana according to the waiter... but the response was ”Sorry we have no bananas” Yet there is a supermarket 1 minute walk away that has bananas....So then we ordered 2 falafel burgers....which don’t really require any cooking as it’s just falafel, and u heat them up. At least 20 minutes later and nothing had come out. Yet there was only 2 tables in the whole place that had people sitting at them. I go to the counter “Hey mate how much longer do you think?” - he responds “oh the chef advised another 2 minutes”. I then ask “Can you ask if the chef has even started preparing the burgers at all?” His response “It’s fine just another 2 minutes”. So we wait 2 minutes...still nothing.....we went up to the counter and said “Mate forget it, we are leaving, you have terrible service”. Then we left. Nuff said. Don’t go to this place guys.
