The Old Bailey

Went twice with a group. Ordered garlic bread and 400g steak with a cider. All food came out at the same time as requested. Server was great and had the right food to the right people quickly. The steak was cooked to perfection and salad was very well done with crisp and fresh greens nice dressing. Fries were crunchy and fluffy on the inside. Cider was cool and fresh. Both times visited I had the same order. Steak $38 cider $7 Good place will go again.

Lived in Wellington for 3 months for work. We went here most Thursdays for food mainly for the rib eye steak It's probably the best steak in town it was delicious. Plenty of other good options for food & snacks on the menu too. They have tv's spread around for different sports, a good place to go. Very polite friendly staff & good service.

I come here regularly to watch Rugby. it has a great atmosphere and draws a good crowd for most games. Good food and friendly staff. Wheelchair access is via a service lift around the back of the building, so you will need to ask to have this opened. It can be quite tight so a lot of chairs will not fit through here.

Friendly staff & the snacks were nice to go with the drinks, Wellington prices are a bit higher than Feilding but that was all part of going to Wellington for the rugby.

The Old Bailey is a charming little English pub, fairly small and cosy.It was one of the few places we found open to eat on a Sunday night. Quite a good selection of food and about what you would expect to pay at a pub for a meal. Staff were friendly too
