Good selection of many different beers on tap, including Wellington, New Zealand and a few from overseas. Bethel Woods has a focus on slow cooked meaty treats, the BBQ ribs are particularly good. If meat and beer are your jam, this is the place to go. Can get very quite busy during the weekday with the after work crowd.

Amazing beer and a great atmosphere. Selection of craft beers is always changing. And this place is always busy. Live music (might be your thing) can be a bit oppressive. Easy access for the train station and buses. Can serve as a good prelude to a stadium event as it's close by.

Good beer good food. Great atmosphere. I really enjoyed this quirky central bar. Its our go to place for work drinks

Had lunch there today ordered the Caesar Salad, a favourite of mine. This has to be the most expensive bowl of lettuce and bread I have ordered. No bacon microscopic amount of cheap Parmesan. This is my second visit the last one being two years ago and I wouldn't bother again. There are better places to eat in Welly.

What a great feed and place. Ok so ordered a steak and cider. Cider came was very tasty and refreshing. Was with a group of 4. Heard and all mighty crash, everyone else's food came out and the server came to me and said there was a problem with my meal... Mmm big crash + problem with my meal = beat the had to start again. They provided me with another cider theny food came out.. well worth the wait the steak was cooked just the way I wanted it (medium rear) salad was fresh and crisp, the fries crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Service was excellent. Music good. The let us charge back to our room at the hotel down the street as well no extra fee. $28 for steak main meal.
