Artisan restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a 24 hour room service menu for Bolton Hotel guests. The Bolton Hotel lobby cafe on the ground floor is a very popular spot for locals to grab a coffee and snack on their way to work or to relax in for a discreet coffee meeting or business luncheon. Visit the cafe after 5 and you'll find a classy bar atmosphere for an after work drink, then follow the staircase up to Artisan for a delicious dinner.

We stayed at Bolton and decided to dine here. It was really nice of them to accommodate us without a  booking on Saturday night. We ordered pork belly and rib eye. The pork belly was excellent. A little on the sweeter side due to the apples but I loved it. The meat was a little tough for medium rare and fatty and senewy. So not the high quality that you'd expect for the price you pay. Overall it was a good experience.

I ate dinner at the Artisan several times during my stay at the Bolton hotel in June and July 2017. The service was always excellent. Dinner was on the expensive side, but generally worth it. The lamb, beef, venison and fish mains were fabulous. The duck risotto the only main that I was every disappointed with; there wasn't that much duck in it, especially the second time that I had it. The side dishes were also fabulous, especially the beetroot.Wine list was very good with gold stars going to the Wooing Tree pinot noir. It paired well with everything, but especially the lamb and venison.

A perfect place to stay, they upgrade us (because we are on honeymoon) and the staff are so nice! Thank you guys ❤️

Great coffee and friendly service even when busy. Their mini cakes are yum and just the right size. Lunch from the cabinet is yum and reasonably priced.
