Michael Danby has been committed to his beliefs in spite of the consequences. He has openly criticized members of Parliament on both sides who have either been ilinformed or have a personal agenda in opposing the only free liberal democratic state in the Middle East. If anyone is wondering, why he feels he has to spend so much time on standing up for Israel, it is because so many institutions like the U.N. spend a ridiculous amount of their time focusing on the Israeli Palestinian situation rather than far more serious events going on in the Middle East. What is happening in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Libya far out shines the issues with Israel and yet the light seems to disproportionately keeps focusing on it.

Danby is the worst MHR in Melbourne Ports history (about 100 years). For 20 years he has been on the backbench, except for 5 months in 2013 when he was Parliamentary Secretary for the Arts in a Labor government. His constant carping about Israel, who can do no wrong in his view, has made him the laughing stock of the electorate. Melbourne Ports electorate has only 10% who are of the Hebrew race and many dont vote ALP as they live in Caufield and East St Kilda which is Liberal Party territory with a Liberal in the state parliament. In September 2017 his conduct regarding criticize of the ABC journalist in Palestine (including Israel) cause the leader of the ALP Bill Shorten to stop his spending on inappropriate taxpayer funded ads in newspapers. Danby is not the shadow Foreign Minister and never will be. Melbourne Ports electorate has had great MHR before him including ministers and a Deputy PM. The constituents deserve ministerial materiel not a dud backbench MHR.

These clowns have never helped me in any way... If they are politician's and are supposed to listen to the people, well, they suck at it in this state... I'm struggling and I won't make it... You have smashed my will into pieces and its going to very, very hard to fix that and live on...
