The Nostalgia Box

About

Australia's only interactive Video Game Console Museum! We're here to remind you how much fun you had 20 years ago!

Story

The Nostalgia Box is Australia’s 1st interactive Video Game Console Museum. We showcase around 100 consoles from the 1970s through to the 2000s. This is a great way to go behind the scene and uncover the ‘making’ of present-day consoles as you make your way through the museum reading the stories of each console. You are sure to find most if not all consoles from your childhood as well as many you’ve never even heard of.

In our gaming area, here is where you replay your favourite childhood games again, and also old games that are new to you. We have all the classic games like Pong, Space Invaders, Super Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog, Crash Bandicoot and many more.

We aim to take you back to the nostalgic memories of your gaming youth - and gives kids a chance to experience gaming old school style. This is the perfect opportunity to share your childhood with your loved ones, or simply relive it once more. Come join us for a unique experience today!

Awesome fun for all ages. Well kept games and consoles, good range on display and a lot that can be played. Highly recommend a visit. The do functions as well. This is the best cafe of this type that I have seen outside of Japan. I could go multiple times. Very relaxed atmosphere abd friendly staff that you can tell are into it just as much as we are.

Great place if your visiting Perth and have an interest in gaming/retro gaming you should definitely give this place a chance. It's only small but has a lot to offer for its size we stayed there for about 3 hours

Really neat little museum. Looks small but it very information dense. Spent at least an hour and a half reading all the signs and then another hour playing old games!

Great Place. Lots of info on console and overall video game history. Looking at the old commercials was very cool. Would go again, even just to play the older games.

Bit smaller than expected. A lot of details regarding all the consoles. Best part was playing all the vintage games!
