Had lunch on Saturday and sat outside as it was such a lovely day. I had the cheese burger which was okay, no wow factor. My friend had the lamb quesadilla which was very tasty and very filling. The prices were reasonable. A bit disappointing at the time we had to wait to be served as there were not that many people and also I found the staff a bit grumpy (maybe they had a big night on Friday). Will I go back, not sure, but certainly am aiming to go to the restaurant as I have had a better experience there.

Bar Can get crowded with the college crowd on wed and Thur nights. Live music most nights. Restaurant is cozy and food is good, although a little pricey. Decent wine selection.

There is something seriously wrong with the ordering process. We ordered 2 caps and a regular latte followed by a large latte, 2 big breakfast and scrambled eggs. Twice after receiving our beverages, we were bought more caps and more regular lattes (not ordered by us), but were still waiting for the large latte. As we finished dining they bought 2 extra breakfasts to the table which also did not belong to us. What ever their system is, it isn't very efficient!!

Exceptional service and great atmosphere in the restaurant. The steak was cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend The Lion for a pleasant night out.
