My first time to the Waymouth street store after visiting James a while ago - which I loved! The place was pumping and service was great. The girl greeted me as I entered the store and took my order straight away. She was really helpful and I ended up ordering the spicy rice bowl with fried tofu from the Autumn menu and a coffee. I really enjoyed it - was so tasty! Thanks Jack Greens - I will be back!

I never used to eat salad but have become a regular of Jack Greens on Waymouth Street, visiting almost every day. The staff are very warm and engaging and the ingredients are so fresh. I love that they oven bake and don't fry their ingredients. Their Chilli Vinegar Dressing and Spicy Broccoli are so addictive. If you want a flavour packed salad and great service I highly recommend! Brilliant work guys :)

Fantastic, fresh salad bar with a great selection of tasty interesting recipes, a make your own option, pre-made wraps, chia muesli and other health pots, and a great contemporary warm green decor. Our red curry chicken ‘special’ was delicious, the pumpkin soup and chilli con carne tasty - albeit the later a touch spicy for our mild tastes. Portion sizes were fine. The service was friendly and helpful with someone roaming to explain during the lunch peak. Felt a bit of business conscious emphasis on the up-sell options; example sour cream $1, avocado $2.50, tortilla chips $2 that would have been lovely but not absolutely necessary for my taste, this ‘sell’ took the edge off what was otherwise a very refreshing and enjoyable lunch experience.

Smaller salads, increased prices... Regular customer, and I have to say I have loved the salads as a delicious lunch option, but I am deeply disappointed with some recent changes. Bowls were changed before Christmas and when I asked, I was told for 'environmental' reasons, but the new bowls are clearly smaller and hold less salad. Today I went in to order the Hola Mexico, one my favs, and was asked if I wanted to add guacamole. Now, I had rationalized that this salad was called the Hola Mexico, probably in part because of the guacamole. They are charging an additional $3 to add this ingredient back in. They have lowered the price to $13, but that does not, on my recollection, account for the full 'add in' cost of the guacamole. These small changes seem insidious to me and I reckon my romance with Jack Greens has come to end..... Show less
