ZERO STAR FOR THIS STORE.nnWe had our Lg vacuum stick brought in to the store as it was still under warranty. The guy who assisted us kept insisting that my issues with the vacuum were not an actual issue. I brought this back in store because a screw went missing despite no cracks or chips, and the suction has changed as well. The mopping system of the vacuum works but has obviously changed. I should know because I use it regularly. However, the salesman or staff insisted it was okay etc.nnHe took the vacuum anyway, and said it will get checked. We were told it will take 4-6 weeks. We were okay to wait to get it fixed.nnHowever, after weeks of checking and calling, we were told that a staff from LG went to the store to check, and said nothing was wrong with it. We asked who the LG representative was, and they could not even give a name! This was difficult to believe because the updates on the website show that nothing has been done yet. Sad to say, they really did not bother helping us with our concern. I don’t know if this is laziness or just pure lack to care.nnAfter about 5 weeks today, we finally collected the vacuum, and I accepted the fact that they did not repair the item that’s STILL UNDER WARRANTY. The Good Guys Dandenong staff are NOT at all helpful. The vacuum was not repaired, and it actually came back DAMAGED and dirty!!!!! I will attach photos of before and after.nnDo NOT go to this store!!!! Very poor customer service. They don’t treat their clients politely or professionally. Worse, instead of having your item repaired, they will return it to you DAMAGED.nnI would not recommend this store. They are difficult to deal with.
Terrible service from the staff at this shop.nTold to pickup my order from the back of the store, where no one was attending.nnTurns out they had a door bell hidden behind piles of products, ill-mannered staff seems to be more interested in telling customers about not stepping on the red line of the warehouse boundaries than to serve their customers and bringing them the purchased items.nnJust my 2 cents, if you dont want people to walk into the warehouse, here are a few suggestions.n1. bring the product to the front where there is a customer service desk.n2. make your staff available to attend to customer if they really need to collect at the back doorn3. stop hiding the ringing bell within piles of cardboxes
Absolutely appalling service.nnWe purchased a washing machine from The Good Guys and paid for installation, which they failed to do properly. The result? Water leaked everywhere, damaging our floorboards, lifting them, and soaking the carpet.nnIt’s now been three weeks since the incident, and we’ve been trying to get answers through the insurance email they provided. We’ve been completely ignored and left in the dark with no communication, no follow-up, and absolutely no accountability.nnWe’re now left with serious water damage and zero resolution in sight. I’m shocked and disappointed by the complete lack of professionalism and care. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I would never recommend The Good Guys to anyone.nnSave yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.
I bought all my appliances from Good Guys, but after this experience, they’ve lost a valued customer.nnI purchased a Dyson V8 with a 3-year extended warranty. When the battery failed, I returned it to the store. A manager wrote a report for the warranty claim and oddly told me to say “it doesn’t turn on” instead of mentioning the battery—because apparently, the warranty might not cover battery issues.nnWhen the service team called, I said it doesn’t turn on. They rejected the claim, saying the report wasn’t clear enough. A second report was written, and then another service rep said they still needed a more specific explanation. I waited over an hour and a half just to be sent home with a broken vacuum.nnMoral of the story: don’t waste your money on Good Guys’ extended warranty. They’ve lost my trust—and my business
I have shopped a few times here for home items and i recommend this place for its team. I had an issue with the Dryer that I bought. They were quick to solve my issue and happy to help.
