DO NOT BUY from The Good Guys Bundall or LG – Extremely DisappointednnWe bought the LG washer-dryer combo 16/9kg thinking it would be convenient to have both functions in one. But after 7 months, it’s been nothing but a headache. This machine produces excessive lint, to the point it causes allergic reactions, and there’s NO lint filter to catch any of it. The design is ridiculous, and there has been zero resolution despite many attempts to get help.nnWe’ve contacted The Good Guys and LG multiple times, including through the ‘Gold Service Extras’ team – and have gotten no real assistance. The customer service is scripted, unhelpful, and the staff clearly don’t understand the product.nnWhen my mum visited the Bundall store with damaged clothes, hoping for a solution, she was met with disrespect. The staff were dismissive until I stepped in and spoke fluent English – only then did they show basic respect. It was obvious they were taking advantage of the language barrier.nnEven worse, when she asked to speak to a manager, a staff member tried to silently signal her colleague not to get the manager. The manager eventually came, but had the audacity to say, “If I refund you, we lose money” – which is completely unethical and a total joke. We’ve had the machine inspected already, and even the technician admitted it produces excess lint. Still, they refuse a refund or replacement, saying there’s “technically no fault.”nnThe whole experience has been repetitive, disrespectful, and frustrating. We know our consumer rights under the ACCC, and this is a clear violation. Instead of taking accountability, both LG and The Good Guys keep pushing useless suggestions and wasting our time.nnThis machine is a total failure in design, and even a $300 unit would do a better job. It’s not practical for everyday use, and the effort needed just to maintain it is insane for something this expensive.nnWe’re so disappointed. We were excited for this purchase, but now we wouldn’t recommend LG or The Good Guys – Bundall to anyone. If you want good service, go to Harvey Norman. We’ve never been mistreated there, and they actually know how to help customers.nnThis whole thing has been a massive waste of money and time. LG needs to own up to the fact that this product is not up to standard.
Great deals and price matching. The staff are knowledgeable and patient and will give you the best deal they can. Deliveries are quick and seamless too, and at $85 for premium, which includes unpack, set-up and removal of the old appliance, you couldn't ask for better.
Absolute disaster.nPurchased a brand new dryer + installation. The contractor they hired to do the installation stood me up THREE times after scheduling delivery & installation. I called good guys every time because I didn’t receive a word from the contractor. They refused to provide any compensation for the 3 days I spent unable to do anything or leave my house waiting for a guy who couldn’t be bothered to show. THEN! My brand new dryer broke on the THIRD use… after I cleaned the filter every time etc already. Again, good guys can’t fix it so organised another contractor. They assured me it would be 2-3 business days for someone to come out… it’s been 10 and I can’t get hold of the repairman at all. So I’ve had a brand new dryer paid for for 3 weeks and used it twice and the good guys apparently can’t do anything to compensate the waste of time and incompetence of their contractors??? GO ELSEWHERE!!!
Ordered a product from The Good Guys online with an agreed delivery date, but they attempted delivery several days late. I cancelled the order via their online chat, was told it was successfully cancelled and I'd receive a full refund. Later, I got an email saying the refund would take up to 5 business days. After 10 business days, with no refund in sight, I contacted customer service again, only to be told the cancellation was never processed. It's now been nearly a month since I made the purchase, and I have neither the product nor my money back. Absolutely unacceptable service. Please avoid if you value your time and money.
Came in looking to purchase a microwave, good prices, ready to buy, just needed assistance to get stock from back. Waited near sales person while they assisted another customer fair enough but some acknowledgment would’ve been nice, for example I’ll be with you soon. Went to front desk and asked for assistance, the girls were polite and radio’d in for support.nI went back to the microwaves, stood for another 10-15 mins waiting for someone to come down and assist. Still nothing.nLeft the store. Pathetic service.
